Is there any possible way to disable Auto Updates in Synapse 4 & Chroma?I am finding Auto Updates are causing to many system issues & I would rather choose when to update.
Beyond testing the Razer Synapse Preview for macOS and being curious about our experience so far—especially around device compatibility and performance. Does anyone have insight on when we might see a stable update or new beta release from Razer?
So, when I map macro/some of multimedia options, it doesn’t work and says “This mapping requires Razer Synapse”. I tried reinstalling, rewriting macro, nothing worked. Is there and solution?
I have an Asrock Z690 Taichi Razer edition motherboard. The list of supported devices doesn’t include motherboards and since I’ll lose all my profiles from synapse 3 if I were to switch to 4 right now I’d rather not experiment and see if my motherboard is supported. Is this motherboard supported and are there plans for the motherboard to be supported if it isn’t already? sorry for the title spelling I’m on mobile and clearly can’t type.
On my Naga V2 Pro, when I toggle the dpi sensitivity or the scroll wheel setting using the buttons on the mouse, the active setting does not change in the Synapse UI. For example, I have setting 3, 1600 DPI active right now and thats what is highlighted in the UI. Now I toggle via the button on the mouse to setting 4, 3200 DPI and the sensitivity changes but setting 3 is still highlighted in the UI. Now I can click on any of the 5 sensitivity stages in the UI and it will change to that, but the UI will stay with that highlighted even after toggling the sensitivity again via the mouse. Keep in mind that this bug is only reproducible after power cycling the mouse as outlined in my first bug report thread. If I have synpase open and dont power cycle the mouse, the sensitivity or scroll wheel buttons on the mouse wont do anything. I recently purchased a Basilisk V3 Pro 30k and connected it to my MacBook Pro. I also just installed Synapse Preview for Mac. When Synapse is running, I’m able to successfully configure the RGB, so as far as I can tell, Synapse and my mac are able to communicate with my new mouse. However, when Synapse is running the following buttons do not work:Sensitivity Clutch Scroll Mode Toggle Cycle Up Sensitivity StagesWhen I say they “do not work”, I mean that clicking those three buttons has no affect. Additionally, tilting the scroll wheel left or right has no affect. When I try to remap the functions of any of those buttons, nothing happens. They continue to do nothing. The only buttons that work correctly are left/right click, scrolling, scroll click, mouse4, and mouse5.However, if I quit Synapse, RGB lighting goes back to default and all the buttons work as expected, performing their default behavior. Additionally, tilting scroll wheel left or right performs horizontal scrolling as expect
since upgrading to synapse 4, it stopped saving some settings correctly eg. keyboard game modeheadset THX spatial mode
In these recent updates this feature got bugged, it still works just not as intended. to verify this I went back to synapse 3 for testing purposes and there it worked as intended.I like to use the M1-M5 buttons as my very specific controls for some games and this bug completely breaks it,For example, I like to bind my M3 to Alt (which is a jump key for the game in question), now when I use the regular Alt key I can jump while moving to the right (pressing right arrow key). Problem is that when i rebind my M3 to work this way, it just does NOT do the same thing. I tried all the available options, in any configuration I might add, be it key recording, alphanumeric or any other option) it just won’t work as the actual key anymore. Any thoughts/ideas or workarounds would be very helpful. I use a Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro
Hi everyone,I just purchased a Viper V3 Pro. The Dongle sometimes might not show the light indicating my mouse battery after I open my computer. Sometimes when I wake up my computer from sleep the Dongle also showed no light of my mouse battery as well; but the mouse is still working. Then, I have to unplug the Dongle and plug it again and it works fine. And sometimes I cannot wake up my computer from sleep using the mouse and the dongle as well; sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t experience any connectivity issues during gaming or using. It’s just something happen at the beginning like when I first start my computer or waking up from sleep oor trying to wake the computer from sleep. I already reinstall synapse4, update firmware, pairing etc, but it still happens. Is this a software issue or hardware issues? Should I RMA?
I’m currently using 2024 Razer Blade 14 and updated to the latest version of Synapse 4 on May 7th. Immediately after the update, I started experiencing the following two issues: Since the update, there's a bug causing the volume of THX Spatial audio to be lower than the set level. I usually set the volume to 8 with THX Spatial audio enabled. However, after restarting the laptop, even though the volume setting still shows 8, the audio output is noticeably lower. Upon investigation, I determined that Synapse 4 is causing this issue. Changing the sound setting in Synapse 4 from THX Spatial audio to Stereo and then back to THX Spatial audio temporarily fixes the issue, restoring the volume to its correct level. There's also a firmware update notification bug. When opening the Synapse 4 app, I receive a notification indicating that a firmware update is required, providing the following online link: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13930. This link directs me to the BIOS
I have been experiencing this issue where some of my keys on my “BlackWidow V3” keyboard stop working sometimes but in a super weird way. I’m pretty certain that it’s and issue with Synapse 4 because the key’s immediately start working again after I focus the Synapse application. From what I noticed is that it only effects lower case “h” and “c” and possibly “k”. When the issue occurs I can type the uppercase variant’s, of the before mentioned keys, just fine but still get no input when lowercase until I tab out of the game and refocus the Synapse application. It makes me wonder if this issue could be caused buy “Full-screen Windowed” games/applications because I stumbled into similar Issue while using OBS and an eye tracker where the stream video would bug out the second the game was tabbed back into (Counter-Strike 2). Some other person experienced the same exact issue but in Call Of Duty. So in both of those games, they have quite a few compatible issues caused by their Anti-Cheat s
MY HEADSET DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE SYNAPSE PROGRAM, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
headphones still cant load, profiles are still broken, and it crashes every 3 seconds. no Im not sending logs or anything, the last time I did that I was told there is nothing wrong. waste someone else's time.
Ive tried multiple times to install, reinstall, clean, etc. All the suggestions provided including trying to install previous version. No matter what, synapse doesn’t recognize the laptop.
All Cryo Pro Ultra Resolutions within the Synapse 4 Camera Processing tab are for NTSC - ie they are all 60/30 FPS. I am in the UK and require resolutions for PAL - ie 50/25 FPS, for camera input into the software I use.Although I set the image anti-flicker to 50Hz, as used by PAL, the Synapse resolutions don’t change to suit.Any chance of an update or info’ how to use the camera on PAL sytems?
Currently, when a macro includes a long delay (e.g., 90 seconds), it becomes impossible to interrupt or restart the macro during that delay. The macro must finish the full wait time before any new input — even from the same hotkey — can trigger a new loop or restart the macro. This behavior limits responsiveness and flexibility, especially in scenarios where the user needs to adapt mid-loop. Please consider adding functionality to: Interrupt or reset a running macro immediately, regardless of how much delay time remains. Optionally allow delays to be non-blocking, so pressing the assigned macro key again can cancel or restart the macro on demand. This would dramatically improve the responsiveness of macros with long or variable delaysThank you for your work and continued updates to Synapse!
Since installing Synapse for Mac, my Naga V2 Pro is experiencing intermittent disconnects over 2.4 that it did not have before Synapse for Mac.
Hi. I’m bought Razer Naga V2 Hyperspeed and never use Razer before. I create Macro with “5+Left Click” and assign to mouse button with Play while assign key is press ( I think it’s same “repeat mode” in LG Hub).I found if i press hold macro button then release , sometime it stop at “5” left click not come after that. on LG Hub if i press hold then release macro it’s always call “5+Left Click” every-time no interrupt. Do I make something wrong with Synapse 4? or it’s normal thing for Razer Synapse 4?
When I download synapse 4 and transfer my profiles, my macros that worked when I was using synapse 3 do not work correctly and are imperfect. For example, in a game, when I set the weapon to not ricochet, it does not control the weapon ricochet correctly, what is the reason for this and how can I solve it?
The problem is there no delay when i press media up first register and the following registers, so unless i click and release real quick, it raise or decrease volume by 4 level instead of just 2. This was not like that back when i was using Synapse 3. It happened with synapse 4. Razer keyboards (especially with Synapse 4) often send rapid repeat signals for media keys (volume up/down), with almost no initial delay — unlike most other keyboards, which typically have a built-in delay before repeat kicks in (just like regular typing keys).Synapse 4 lacks a setting to adjust repeat rate or debounce time for media keys — unlike some other manufacturers (e.g., Logitech with G Hub or QMK-supported boards).
I don’t know if it’s Synapse 4 bug/feature or my specific problem, but as it happened after I switched to Synapse 4, I’ll post it here:During Windows logon keyboard lighting is completely turned off. It makes it difficult to enter passkey in the dark. It wasn’t a case with Synapse 3.Windows 10 / Huntsman TE (connected via USB hub)
I want to run bot SignalRGB and synapse simultaneously, since each of them had features other doesn’t. I forced to sacrifice periphery control for getting rid of that insane strobe, I receiving, because of chroma overriding. That would be a massive QoL. Chroma (even via razer ARGB hub) doesn’t give that much of control for my components such as proper AIO fans positioning or RAM/GPU strips, while also has no way to build a fully custom simple HTML/XML file unlike Signal, forcing you to use that atrocious interface for component interactivity. I’m uncertain about my further brand support, since it’s central control software sabotages brand ideology as aesthetical and high-perf products for average consumer. Design team work is great, QA and Software teams results are questionable.
I downloaded the software on my mac, but the mice I’m using is not supported, I would like to know if it has a chance of being supported, model(BASILISK X HYPERSPEED) RC30-031501 Gaming Mouse
Installed Synapse 4. The Alt button stopped working (round over the stick). The installed macros are not launched, it does not respond to clicks.no problem with Synapse 3. upd . The problem was solved by rebooting and transferring USB
