Razer Synapse

Hello all,On one of my PC Synapse 4 is not starting up properly.  During the startup phase, it is downloading files but it doesn’t complete.  It downloads files non-stop reaching 50 000 % + and keep rising. I have all the latest update of Windows 11and without any razer devices connected but it is always bug at this place. Anyone encounter this and have a workaround? Thank you!

Hi,My microphone is working fine but the RGB suddenly stopped working. I’ve tried multiple troubleshooting steps already but to no avail. It just happened yesterday. Troubleshooting Steps done:1.) Unplug and re-plug cable.2.) Uninstall and Re-install Razer Synapse/Chroma.3.) Uninstall and Re-install Seiren V3 Chroma Driver from Device Manager.4.) Turn on my PC with only the Seiren V3 Chroma plugged in.5.) Try all USB ports including a docking station on my PC.6.) Run my device with Razer Synapse/Chroma disabled. I don’t have an extra computer/laptop to try my device. Is anyone experiencing this as well?

Linked Games and Auto Profile Switch no longer works after an Synapse Update (Jan 2026), profile switch doesn't affect the apps i'm using. i did a clean install to the software, the linked games now takes forever to scan games and i can't even add programs to it.

The audio equalizare in Razer synapse 4 is not doing anything to my sound, cant modify anything, the problem started 3-4 days ago.

Synapse 4 is garbage it doesn't work half the time and the other half it keeps crashing, i have never used such a buggy software in my life, its literally reseting all my profiles to default even if i re-import them or create new ones, if i switch profiles for a differnet game its keeps jumping back and forth from 1 to the other, why this is even available yet is beyond me, cant use Synaps 3 installer "Server access unavailable" im using the Razer Tartarus V2 and its completely un-usable with Synapse 4, why could they not allow us to use Synapse 3 locally i dont understand, those that still have synapse 3 can use it locally 

I’ve seen some others have had some problems with installing Synapse 4, but the fixes either I can’t implement because they’re too technical (using PowerShell) or they don’t work for me (closing any Razer processes in Task Manager).Does anyone have any recommendations for a fix that works and isn’t technical?

Hi, I’ve been trying to recreate Sequence Macro like functionality in Razer Synapse. But for some reason it doesn’t really work well. Any ideas what’s the best way to create a macro like this:  

g, h, j, k, o, p, [, ], c, TAB, LShift, CapsLock, Del, PGup, Numpad4, Numpad5. All have the blue LED disabled. The first day i noticed i was able to get it to temporarily fix itself by unplugging the keyboard , restarting synapse 4, and plugging it back in. but since then this issue persists, i know these LEDs are not burned out. they are just software disabled. I've tried firmware updating and factory resetting the Hunstman Elite. But i wish not to uninstall synapse if i can avoid it. When synapse is off and the keyboard is on default spectrum cycling the blue LEDs remain disabled.I am firmly certain this is a synapse issue but because my keyboard is out of warranty i was forced onto this forum instead of talking to a customer service person. Edit* Windows Dynamic Lighting is off, Razer is set to Chroma RGB.

In Synapse 4, Ultra-Low Latency mode is currently not usable. In the text description for it it says “… as low as ~10ms.When disabled, enjoy gaming grade latency ...” when in fact it should be “… as low as ~10ms. I have a razer cobra pro, and I was wondering whether i could bump up the brightness during the wired mode and have it reduced when it is wireless. I’m pretty sure the best way to do this is by profile swapping (I mean the cleanest way) but any other way also work. I’m willing to go through any extent in order to make this work so even if it involved other softwares count me in. Thanks!

After updating to Razer Synapse 4, my internet connection started dropping for ~30 seconds approximately once per hour. Other devices on the same router (Wi-Fi) worked fine during the drops, confirming the issue is on the PC side.After extensive diagnostics using Windows event logs, I identified the root cause:The following Razer services spam the Windows network stack with hundreds of "hostname changed" events every minute, which eventually causes the connection to drop:- Razer Chroma SDK Server- Razer Chroma SDK Service- Razer Chroma Stream Server- Razer Game Manager Service 3EVIDENCE:With Razer services running (April 23, 2026):Windows event log Microsoft-Windows-NetworkProfile/Operational showed dozens of Event ID 4004 firing every single minute — hundreds per hour, all with "hostname changed: true".With Razer services stopped (April 26-27, 2026):Only ~40 events over two full days, all corresponding to normal PC boot cycles. When i try to upload on workshop Chroma effects it dosent upload it works on profile  and macro but not uploads i dont know if its on my side or if its the s4’s problemDid razer stop doing razer chroma effects fixes?I try to find more Chroma effects profiles but its none. I’ve already sent this to support but I thought I’ll put this here too.This is an issue I have only on Synapse4.Basically, when ever I cycle keymap(I use 1 as main and 2 for some obscure shortcuts) and use it, Synapse can randomly overwrite the 2nd keymap with the mapping of 1st’s.Here’s a video of me reproducing this issue by spamming keys while cycling, but this has happened multiple times when I’m using Tautarus normally and I don’t spam keys.My temporary solution for this is to dupe the preset so I can switch to it when it happens, delete the original and dupe the dupe for next time...

Hello,I would like to report what appears to be a regression in Razer Synapse 4 regarding macro execution speed, compared to Synapse 3.I am using onboard memory profiles with macros created previously in Synapse 3.When Synapse 4 is completely closed, the macros execute instantly with no noticeable delay, exactly as configured (0 ms delay).
