I’ve already sent this to support but I thought I’ll put this here too.This is an issue I have only on Synapse4.Basically, when ever I cycle keymap(I use 1 as main and 2 for some obscure shortcuts) and use it, Synapse can randomly overwrite the 2nd keymap with the mapping of 1st’s.Here’s a video of me reproducing this issue by spamming keys while cycling, but this has happened multiple times when I’m using Tautarus normally and I don’t spam keys.My temporary solution for this is to dupe the preset so I can switch to it when it happens, delete the original and dupe the dupe for next time...

Hello,I would like to report what appears to be a regression in Razer Synapse 4 regarding macro execution speed, compared to Synapse 3.I am using onboard memory profiles with macros created previously in Synapse 3.When Synapse 4 is completely closed, the macros execute instantly with no noticeable delay, exactly as configured (0 ms delay). Isopropyl alcohol with a brush or toothbrush helps a lot in maintaining durability and removing all types of residue. I hope this helped.

Sound quality on my Razer Kraken headset has become completely terrible. I’ve tried uninstalling Synapse 4, turning off all effects in the control panel, etc. I’m about ready to throw away this headset and buy a new one from a different company. Is there a cleanup tool that will delete everything and then I can try again before I throw this in the trash? This is so disappointing considering how expensive this headset was.

I want my CTRL key to also send U key presses, but I want it to keep it's original behavior. My Corsair keyboard has an option called "retain original input" which makes it exactly do what I want.I tried to setup a macro on my CTRL key in razer synapse but the issue is it will send CTRL and U but then I cannot "hold" CTRL (to crouch in-game for example), it blocks the original behavior completely.Is this not possible in synapse ?

I'm using a Razer Blade 18 2025 laptop. How do I set Razer Synapse 4 to not overwrite the icm color profile I added in Windows 11? I set the color profile via color management in Windows 11, save it as the default profile. After restarting, whenever Synapse 4 starts, it overwrites my profile with the default profile in Synapse 4. It worked fine for me on the previous installation, but I don't know why it's not working for me now? I noticed that I previously had a custom color profile filled in directly in Synapse 4, but now there is an empty field, see the picture. I'm using a graphics card in optimus mode. Can you please help me? Thank you! 

I ran into an issue with Razer Synapse 4 not showing wireless battery percentage for 2 different wireless models. Both are listed as officially supported and backwards compatible with Synapse 3 and both had the same exact issue with no battery percentage displaying. I uninstalled Synapse 4 and reinstalled Synapse 3. BAM! I can now see all wireless mouse battery percentages. I attempted to troubleshoot with support but it took way too long to get valuable responses and I’m not interested in downloading a software log capture tool. Will check out Synapse 4 at a later date perhaps.I thought I’d post this for anyone who has a similar problem as all of the threads I’ve seen are requesting PM’s and don’t show a resolution status or troubleshooting steps.

So, I currently play gta online and hear to music while I play, I currently have a razer huntsman v2 as my main keyboard and I use the razer sypnases 4 software since I also have other razer products.The issue is that when I play gta online, for some reason the media keys act as a other keys. For example: The previous song acts as a Q, which makes me to change radio, a bit of annoying sometimes. The Stop/Resume song, acts as the G, which makes blow C4’s, also annoying And the skip song, acts as to pause the menu, which is more annoying.I have found out that is mainly the razer sypnase 4 software since I have tried to play gta without and it doesn’t happen, and no, I don’t use any macros and either my default profile of the keyboard has no change.I honestly don’t know how to fix this, maybe I should go back to razer sypnase 3 and wait till this issue is fixed?

I have a mac notebook os Monterey 12.7.6 Intel Quad core i7 .Cannot get drivers to load did I PURCHASE THE WRONG MOUSE? I have some functions (wheel and L and R) buttons .I keep getting my ___ kicked in all games played.Please any advise would be Great or just buy a another mouse?Thank You For Your Time on reading this problem.

For many years in synapse 3 I had Excel linked to special profile. After migrating to synapse 4 few months ago I was unable to do so, so had to roll back to S3. Now, few weeks ago I tried S4 again and it worked this time. But today it stopped working. In the linked games tab excel was shown with comment "game not found". I deleted it from the list and tried to re-add it. For some reason when I choose Excel.exe with "brose" menu nothing happens, and it returns to the menu of linked games.That is very frustrating for me, since Excel profile is the most important function in synapse for me.

Ok, so this is probably a dumb question but how do I associate a Chromo Studio profile with a keyboard profile on my Blackwidow v4 Pro Keyboard in Synapse v4? I used to be able to do it really easily in Synapse v2 (I skipped v3). To be clear when I change to keyboard profile 1 I want to display  only the QWERTY keys in green and everything else in blue. When I change to profile 2 I want it to display only the QWERTY keys in blue and everything else in green. Simple (and not real) example but I can’t make it work. I don’t want the change to be linked to a specific game, the only thing changing is the keyboard profile. I can make it work if I select quick effects in the lighting tab but when I select Advanced Effects it doesn’t save different choices under the Chroma Studio dropdown. I’m sure I am missing something obvious but for the life of me I can’t see what. Thanks in advance for any help you can give

When I have the headset plugged directly into my pc I’m able to change setting in synapse but when I switch over to hyperspeed wireless(no longer plugged directly into pc, but plugged in through the oled control panel)I’m no longer able to customize synapse or the oled screen. The only time I’m able to change options is when(plugged directly into my pc by usb) when I try to change anything with the oled panel it says the device need to be unplugged and turned into hyperspeed wireless. But when I unplug the headset from my pc I’m no longer able to customize through synapse because it says the ”device is switched off” which my headset is powered on and is connected to my pc(I still have audio) so I know it’s powered on. I’ve tried restarting my pc, reinstalling Razer synapse 4, reinstalling drivers. Nothing has seemed to work.

I have been using Razer Synapse 4 for a long time, but as of today, April 3rd, my razerappengine is using 18% CPU and 10g RAM and climbing if I don’t crash it with Task Manager. Also when I’m using the APP interface, the icons of my products are shaking and blinking like they’re spazzing out.

Hello, I’m currently using my Viper Ultimate for 3-4 years for now. Even before, I was using my side button for Alt+tab function. Previously with Synapse 3, If I hold down the button, the “alt” stay held and only “tab” is pressed (Turbo enabled) -Just like when you press alt+tab, release tab and hold on alt, I can choose which app to move to with how many click I want. I got updated to Synapse 4, the “alt” is now also pressed with “tab”, now I can only choose to tab out between 2 app and now I have to alt-tab manually on my keyboard, It is very anoying to me. Can’t even rollback to Synapse 3 because Razer decided not to let us do that. Does anyone have a solution for this,  and yes I do aware ctrl-alt-tab is a thing, but It is 1 additional click instead of holding down the side button, It’s a big inconvenience for my high-speed usage, plus. I don’t want to change my habit. Razer please, Is this really an upgrade???
