Hi,I plugged in the dongle for my Nari Ultimate headphones and the update started, the update installed fine… but now in windows sound settings there is no THX Speaker option. All there is left is “Headphones Razer Nari Ultimate - Chat” & “Headphones Razer Nari Ultimate - Game” I see that I can select THX in Synapse but the sound shows no change. Is this a glitch or are we now having to buy THX to have it back?I hope I don’t come off as rude or anything, just wondering what has happened to the program and THXThank you
As the title suggests, I think it would be helpful for at least some people to be able to at least have limited control over legacy devices all from within one single version of Synapse. It would also be a huge plus towards sustainability to be able to keep old hardware running as long as possible. Personally, I’ve got a Basilisk V3 which requires Synapse 3, but I’m still using the same Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth that I got back in 2016, as well as an Orbweaver Chroma Stealth that I bought used. I understand that adding legacy support would take manpower away from the rest of the software development, but having to manage 2 different pieces of software just so I don’t have to buy either a used mouse or a new keyboard and whatever y’all are calling the Orbweaver now is annoying, and potentially taxing for users with less capable computer hardware.I get that things like Razer Chroma or similar features may not be added for the legacy devices, but at least being able to manage keybinds a
So, every time that i put my PC into lockscreen using Windows + L, Razer Synapse changes the effect mode from Wave (my default) to Spectrum Cycling. Is there a way I can make it so that the mode will stay on Wave even when I go onto my lockscreen?-Supervisory
I know Razer is actively looking at these threads for feedback so here mine is. In the Nov 29th update they stated the following:I can’t see the 7.1 channel configuration under the Speaker Setup Windows menu of the headsets / I don’t see the 7.1 surround calibrator on Synapse. As part of embedding THX Spatial Audio into the headsets, it is now able to capture the channels earlier in the signal path and processes them BEFORE routing through the Windows Audio Architecture. This is why the 7.1 channel configuration is not visible here, even though it is working on the back end.A future version of Synapse will come with an updated THX Spatial Audio surround calibrator, to allow users to customize their 7.1 audio by setting virtual speakers positions based on personal preferences. After reading this, how will our applications and/or games know to output their 5.1 / 7.1 channel audio to your driver? Windows can see it only as Stereo and all of my games have greyed out the surround options sinc
after the problems with recent software updates have stabilized, i came across another problem. Synapse 3 equalizer just does not work properly: it does not affect my audio at all and it doesn’t save my changes no matter what i do. my default audio output device is Razer Kraken TE - Game. there were no issues like this before, the equalizer was always responsive when the Spatial Synapse output existed
I just bought this headset and all of the settings look different and are supposedly worse now. I have found nothing for a fix, no response from razor, and I am very confused on why they changed the software. It feels like when I change a setting, nothing is different in the audio. I move sliders to max or min and the audio sounds the same. My mic settings also seem like they do nothing. Someone please tell me what is going on because I have spent several hours searching and trying things to no avail.
Is it possible to trigger a macro assigned to a mouse button ONLY when held down for a certain duration? That is, can a button have long press behavior separate from its typical click behavior? I think this question has been asked before but often the answers confuse the issue with long press simulation inside a macro, which is not what I want.
Hello all.It pains me to write this, and sorry for the long message, but I have been unable to open Synapse for the last year or so, despite ~30+ attempts of clean installs, and sadly I think I’m at the end of my time with Razer if I can’t resolve this.I have been with Razer since 2016 and have had very minimal problems besides this, however, not too long ago I attempted another clean install of Synapse as I hadn’t attempted for the past few months - my process: uninstall Synapse and delete all Razer files, then attempt to reinstall from the Razer website - however, this time, my headset’s audio quality has significantly decreased and has been unusable for the past week or so. I’d love to be able to use my headset again and have it sound how it was before the incident - more “full” (?) and less muffled - but with me being unable to open Synapse that seems unfeasible. My current peripherals:- Razer BlackWidow Chroma (Keyboard)- Razer Abyssus 2000 (Mouse)- Razer Kraken TE (Headset, in qu
Startrek online and Neverwinter online from cryptic games share the same profile on Synapse. I made separate profiles for them but when I go to play Neverwinter Synapse thinks it is Startrek online and swaps over. It’s a nuisance because I have had to make a keyset just for Neverwinter on my Startrek profile. I did make sure to bind the separate profiles to each game, and they do come up on the games list without needing to do a manual browse for the .exe. I love the Tartarus pro, it’s made gaming more fun on so many levels. So when a problem like this comes up it can be a bit frustrating. I think Synapse is detecting them as the same game as they have the same architecture and developer studio. So maybe Sneky Snek can save the day again with an update! Thanks Razer you guys rock!
So my Razer Synapse 3 updated today the 7.November.23 to the 3.8.1031.110202 and it doesnt even sound close to what it sounded the last 4 Years. Since the update that changed where the equalizer is, it just sound realy flat and without any Bass. I Deinstalled and Reinstalled the app more than once and deleted the Headset drivers as well and it doesnt change anything. I kinda think it has to do with the THX Spartial audio because changeing from stereo to thx doesnt add a lot of bass and doesnt turn on the extra light on the headset as well. It really sound like a trashy 30€ headset and i dont understand why it isnt posible to use an older version of synapse 3. Please let me know if this is a known issue or if someone else has this problem and if possible how to use an older version of Synapse 3
Razer, I have some legitimate questions I would like to be addressed: So after seeing all the issues with the current update of the headsets, I noticed that you are changing things from a separate driver to software APO’s for THX Spatial. Basically, you have made it so the THX Spatial for those headsets matches your current way of setting it up like I have noticed for the Leviathan V2. But I have some questions, that even the headset users have been wondering, and I feel that Razer needs to respond, as it will affect future purchases of Razer audio (like me for example debating on whether or not I want to spend the money on a Nommo Pro V2). How does the THX Spatial actually work and why are features not present as advertised? Literally, the box for the the Leviathan V2 adversities, and so does your website: “Our advanced 7.1 surround sound delivers audio with pinpoint accuracy, allowing for a more realistic and detailed soundstage that makes your movies, games, and music truly come
Today, the Synapse software updated again, and it still doesn't recognize my headset on my computer. This problem has occurred several times over the past 3 months, and until now, I've been able to resolve it by restarting the software. I've tried restarting the computer, reinstalling the software, and moving the receiver unit to a different USB port, but unfortunately, none of it helped. The headset works with a jack cable, but the software still doesn't detect it
I tried to do clean Raser Synapse 3 installation, but got this error: So I added exceptions for these Razer installation folders, but it didn’t help. Then I ran this:C:\Windows\Installer\Razer\Installer\1676531804G7ekRXhnRzGMS_Setup_V22.214.171.124.exe as an Administrator and got another error: *****Razer Game Manager Service SetupErrorC:\ProgramData\Razer\GameManager\MasterGameList.xmlA decompression error has occured (#5)Could not open output file***** So I created new Text Document to C:\ProgramData\Razer\GameManager and named the document as “MasterGameList.xml”.Then clicked retry on 1676531804G7ekRXhnRzGMS_Setup_V126.96.36.199.exe installation and it finished without any further errors. After these steps I tried Razer Synapse 3 installation (As an Administrator...) and this time installation succeeded.Hope these steps helps someone having same problem.
