Razer Synapse 4

As it says on the tin (using Windows 11).I mainly use a 65% keyboard which doesn’t have F1-F12 keys, so I have to use Fn + 5 for F5, Fn + 9 for F9 and so on. Got a DeathAdder V2 X Hyperspeed. Wanted to bind Mouse Button 4 to the Fn key to make the F1-F12 inputs more seamless. Problem is, Razer Synapse refuses to acknowledge the Fn key: it’s not in the “Keyboard Function” binding tab and doesn’t even register when you try to record the input. Problem is not the keyboard mind you - tried it with both my Akko and HyperX and the Fn keys are working perfectly. To be clear: Fn keys work under any use case, Synapse just doesn’t recognize them.Any thoughts as to what could be going on? Pretty bizarre that the literal Function key is not available as a function in Synapse.Cheers!

Hi,I’m reporting what appears to be a clear software issue with Razer Synapse 4, affecting my Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed.❗ Issue: The lowercase "q" key does not work at all in Windows (typing, browser, Discord, etc.) The uppercase "Q" works perfectly The key works normally in-game And most importantly: ✅ Everything works perfectly when Synapse is closed ❌ The issue appears immediately when Synapse is running 🧠 Why this is clearly a Synapse issue: The key itself is functional (confirmed in-game and without Synapse) The issue is fully reproducible depending on Synapse state Restarting Synapse temporarily fixes it → then it breaks again No hardware fault possible here This strongly suggests that Synapse is: overriding input incorrectly or applying a corrupted/hidden mapping to the key or mishandling AZERTY input 🔍 Troubleshooting already done: Clean reboot Synapse restart Key set to default (no macro) Profiles checked and switched Tested differe

Até ontem tudo funcionava perfeitamente, mas do nada eis que a razer, não satisfeita por estar tudo funcionando, resolveu soltar uma atualização para o beta. Hoje nada funciona. Tenho realmente muita raiva e arrependimento de um dia ter comprado produtos razer, tanto que não compro mais. Meu caríssimo tartarus pro na maior parte do tempo á apenas um brilhante peso de papel. Incrivel que uma empresa dessa tamanho seja incapaz de lançar e manter uma versão funcional do synapse. Sofro com isso há anos, do nada para de funcionar, e muitas vezes nem consigo instalar o software (não consegui instalar nem a versão 3 nem a 4, somente a beta. que agora não funciona mais).  Cade os concorrentes que não aparecem para podermos colocar toda essa tranqueira da razer embaixo de um trator e dar algumas voltas sobre eles.

So, I work from home. I have a work mac and a private PC and I need slightly different default profiles for my mouse for each computer.I have both computers connected to the same monitor and KVM switch. And I want to set a default profile on my mac and one on my PC. I guess I could logout of my Mac and have a specific profile on there. However, sometimes I like to game on my Mac and would love to have my game specific profiles sync between my computers. Also, backups are nice.To clarify, I’m logged into Razer Synapse and my profiles are syncing between my 2 computers. I just want to be able to set a default profile on each computer I’m logged into.

Using Naga.I have to migrate from Synapse 3 everytime I on the PC.I have to set buttons with macros after migrating everytime I on the pc. Frustrating as hell.Please fix.

I recently bought a second Razer Cobra mouse because my old one broke. Since I’ve been using this new one, I’ve had a constant issue where I can’t change the sensitivity. Restarting my PC didn’t help, and neither did uninstalling and reinstalling Razer Synapse. I didn’t have this problem with my old mouse.

Hello, After spending hours troubleshooting with Gemini and Razer support, I’m curious if the Razer Connect tab actually shows anything for anyone else. After talking to support they said it should be under the synapse dashboard, however I can only find Connect after opening “More” and  then "Chroma app”. From Synapse, if I go to modules, I dont see Connect (I’ll attach a photo of what I see). If I open Chroma, then I see Connect (attaching a photo of that as well).In short, I’m just trying to configure Fornite to work with Connect, and apparently you have to configure this through the Connect tab. Side note, I already have Hue setup and it works, but according to Gemini and support I should see this in the connect tab as well. I’ll attach a photo of what my Connect tab looks like as well. Has anyone else experienced this or have any insight here? I did a full reinstall yesterday and same issue.  

I've tried everything... deleting and reinstalling the Razer Room app, re-registering the device, but I couldn't get it to work. I even downloaded and tried the latest beta app, but it still didn't work. I couldn't find any helpful content on the forums either. So I'm giving up. How can I use the Aether Light device with SignalRGB? 

So… switched to synapse 4 and I observe that battery drain is atleast 50% faster. Are we going Apple strategy now? 

I just bought the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition. It’s a fantastic mouse, but I have a feature request that would elevate it to the next level for productivity tasks: a second Hypershift mapping layer.As it stands, we are limited to one Hypershift layout per profile. While application-specific profiles are helpful, they don't solve the issue of needing more easily accessible macros within a single heavy-duty program. One modifier layer is simply not enough for my daily workflow.Because the two side buttons on the left are so comfortable to reach, I would love the ability to assign them as two separate Hypershift triggers. This would allow me to have a "Standard Layout," "Hypershift 1," and "Hypershift 2"—giving me the power to remap left-click, right-click, scroll, and other buttons multiple times without ever taking my hand off the mouse or changing profiles.Implementing a secondary Hypershift layout would be a massive quality-of-life improvement for power users. In Synapse 3 I could create a mouse macro that would press down left click and not release it, meaning left click would stay down until I manually clicked the left mouse button.This no longer works in Synapse 4 - the macro releases the left mouse button even without being told to.Is there a way to get this back/could this be re-added to Synapse? Don’t really want to downgrade back to Synapse 3 but I really need this.

Hi.I’m inviting all to conversation about never ending list of bugs in Synapse 4.Let’s open beers or more voltage alcohole like Razer DEV team and chat about issues with this app if we can call it an app.So last time I spent more time on Synapse 4 fighting with lights and synchronization with MSI app and gear than on playing or doing something more productive. What I learned is that application working like trowing a dice, each clean installation generate different problem :) fixing one but giving you new one.From what I notice there a 4 common issues:   Chroma app stopped turning on automatically with the system after login to windows account (to make lights on you need to turn on manually the Chroma app) Sometimes there is an issue where you can’t add games to Synapse 4 I notice also when you have set profile with lights for some specific game keyboard (huntsman elite in my case) switch lights from profile to profile very slow, more than 20 seconds. Dear Razer Team,Hi, I need to know why my mouse is not working. Let’s look at the picture. Do you see extra buttons that the mouse allows to change anything keyblind? It works when the mouse is moving, click and drag, but the extra button won’t work on Synapse 4. However, my mouse works fully on Synapse 3, unlike Synapse 4.Please let me know if you plan to add the list to this mouse or fix it. I’m really disappointed that I used Synapse 4. Previously a music program / video was opened, the Chroma Visualizer would activate and display the sound on the keyboard.  Very nice, very graphic.  This worked fine with Synapse 3, Synapse 4 Beta (both previous and current versions), as well as a previous version of SYnapse 4.  With the latest downgrade of Synapse 4 that has stopped - for me at least.  Now if the Visualizer option is active, it is permanently active - even when the “Enable for selected apps” option is selected.  It is not possible to make any amendments to the lighting via the Studio tab. After raising this with Customer Support (Customer non-Support more like), I am eventually told by Lydia, that this is deliberate, and only when the Visualizer module is manually turned off. So, Harris tells me that I either manually activate profiles for apps that they have decided to ignore, and Lydia tells me to manually activate/deactivate the Visualizer module on or off.  Why then do we have the possibility to link profiles and

I need help with an issue that just started recently: I have the Tartarus Pro.I map my dpad/joystick button, usually to numbers on my keyboard (1 through 4 in this example)I also change a few of the keys on the keyboard portion. (Caps gets changed to CTRL, C gets changed to ALT, and the keybind switch button gets changed to M).For some reason, I’ll map the dpad to those numbers listed above and as soon as I map one of the other keyboard keys its like the profile forgets. It shows up in Synapse 4 as remaped correctly but it doesn't work. The keyboard remaps (CTRL, ALT, M) work correctly but the dpad just defaults even though they show remapped in Synapse 4. Any suggestions? I have reinstalled Synapse 4, factory reset etc.

Hi All, After a week or two, my thumbpad is moving my toons in a downward movement constantly. I can change directions,  but then it moves downward again. I also can’t use any of the keys, since the downward S is constantly on. I’ve deleted Synapse4 and reinstalled it, deleted all of my profiles,, and cleaned all Razor information from my registry. I then re-installed Synapse 4 and the Colors, with no improvement.  What else can I try?

Hi Razer Support Team,I’m using the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro with Razer Synapse 4, and I’ve noticed that the Esports Equalizer presets have been significantly reduced. Previously, there were many official and pro player-tuned EQ profiles available, but now only 6 remain: Apex Legends, Call of Duty, Fortnite, Counter-Strike 2, Halo Infinite, and Valorant. All other presets — especially the professional player configurations — have completely disappeared.This happened after a recent login/update. I have not changed any settings manually. Hi everyone! I bought Razer Blackshark V3 headphones. It seems to me that the sound on them is very muffled, not like it was on my old Kraken Pros. When I apply equalizer presets, the situation doesn't change much; I can hear footsteps in games, but the sound is muffled, like from a barrel, and THX is turned off.My next question is related to the fact that the esports equalizer presets are gone from the settings, only 6 standard ones remain. What is the reason for this? Also, at the bottom of the equalizer, the frequency labels are gone. I mean labels like: Sub-bass, Midrange, Footsteps, Jumps — they are no longer there.

Are there any plans for Synapse 4 or 3 to be ported to Mac OS? I am planning on buying another Razer mouse and keyboard to be used with my MacBook but the lack of synapse is something that worries me.
