Product number: RZ09-0367 Attempting to purchase an official razer blade battery to replace my original battery which swelled up to twice as thick within 12-14 months of purchase. This caused the trackpad to stop clicking in, the keyboard started to bulge upwards. The battery was swiftly removed so I could keep using the laptop while plugged in but now I obviously can't take it anywhere without a power lead connection present... Asked support for the ability to buy just a new battery as that's all I need and the only option appears to be send the whole laptop back via RMA and have someone simply remove the back panel, and screw in a new battery and ship it back for god knows what cost... third party batteries are only £80-ish on amazon so that will be the route I go if its made impossible to obtain a razer battery legitimately. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue? No doubt this is why the 2022 models have 24 month battery warranties? Hard to remain enthused for these product

Trying to turn off the lights while not gaming, just doing a few things and don't really need or want the lights on. In synapse, I select the tomahawk, then have selected brightness and turned off. This has turned off lights naga(s), blackwidow and Tartarus. I am a little confused why it is not working on Tomahawk. I know I am missing something, just wondering what it might be and if anyone around knows what it might be. When the brightness is turned off the lights inside and on the front logo still on.... Have tried to crate new coloring profiles and that does not seem to work either.

hi, i own a razer blade 17 2022 for a few months now. I use the laptop in the office connected to a Dell screen via usb-c which powers it with ~90W without any problems. however, I have noticed that, in this case, the synapse software limits the performance mode capabilities to "balanced" only. leaving the pc fans running when the workload is minimal and the silent profile would be perfect. I understand that, for obvious reasons, custom mode cannot be activated, but in these cases, with the limited power all the more reason a silent mode would make sense. Ironically, if I use the power supply and activate the silent profile, the fans are much quieter!! Is there no way to activate the silent profile in these cases as well? moreover, it would be the case that the silent profile can be activated even on battery power and remains active even with the synapse software closed (e.g., when the pc is shutting down or starting up - here the fans take flight and the pc becomes an airpla

Does anyone know if the SD card slot will work if a second SSD is added to a 2022 Blade 15 12900H/3080Ti version? Since adding the 2nd SSD, the SD card slot is not working... and there's zero information about port function in the documentation.

Whenever i click on the touchpad it right clicks except in the bottom left hand corner. Does anyone know why it would do this?

I have gotten my AMD RX6900XT card running perfectly. I have an Nvidia Quadro K6000 that I know is good, but I can’t get it to run. I’m at this point; I can boot cleanly into windows only with the amd and my m1200 uninstalled, when the K6000 is enabled. Then I get a frozen POST image on my external monitor and that’s it. I don’t have synapse or cortex installed. I have been at this for months and this is the first time I’ve gotten this far. Razer and Nvidia have both pointed at the other. The drivers and os are the latest available. Both cards aren’t listed as supported. Any suggestions would be appreciated. There’s extenuating circumstances for wanting to do this. Thanks Bill

I bought a new Brydge Stone dock to use with my Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2018). When the dock is connected to the USB-C port of the Blade, I get the monitor (which is connected by a USB-C to HDMI cable from the dock) but no other USB devices connected to the dock (keyboard, webcam, Gaming Pad, etc.) are available to the Blade. All my other laptops (HP, Lenovo, Surface) all have no issues with this dock and provide me monitor and all USB peripherals. Ideas?

Hi all, my first Razer Blade is winging its way to me. I ordered the 15 QHD 3080 Ti. I want to be ready to install a second NVMe SSD into the extra stacked slot as soon as it arrives. I was looking at Samsung 980 Pro 1TB. Basically, I want to order the SSD now, and I want to have confidence it will fit. However, I am getting some super mixed messages on forums and YouTube re: whether it will fit (based on 2021 model). I am seeing a range of fit reviews from “it fit with no problem,” “it fit once I peeled the foam sticker from the installed ssd,” “it fit when I put the washer on top of the second drive,” “it fit when I removed the washer,” “it fit when I removed the metal plate,” “it fit when I cut (!!!) the metal plate,” “it didn’t fit.” Has anyone actually put the Samsung 980 Pro into the Blade 15 2022 model (preferably without sawing through metal)? How did it go? -and/or- If you went with something other than the Samsung 980 Pro that fit well without drama, can you please share

Looking at their stats they seem identical with the 0328 model just being newer. Do anyone have any experience running a 2018 blade on the 0328 battery?

I've recently upgraded my system with more space. I've been uninstalling games when I'm done playing them and installing only when I intend to play them. But I've hit a point where I can't do that anymore and it got super annoying. the topic of discussion for this week: do you like to keep your system tidy and only have the absolute necessary installed games/apps or do you install everything and add more space as you need it? I hope you all are having a nice day, the title says it all. I use linux and thinking of buying Blackshark V2 but i have some doubts currently i am using Steelseries Arctis 3, it has a great microphone but the sound i get is very low sometimes i have to boost sound to 140% to make it audible sometimes after that it's not audible i am thinking if the usb thing with blackshark can help to amplify sound or just to be loud enough to be audible, i won't be able to use the software and even if i do it wont be permanent i can go to windows to configure it and will the settings get stored on headset or they won't work if i dont have software? i am expecting a great sound experience, should i get it? thanks

I have been running a Razerblade advanced 15 from 2018 and its been pretty good for the games I play but its coming time for an upgrade. I always thought about getting the core x to give the graphics a boost and now that the nvidia RTX 3x are coming down in price i think it might be the right time for this. To give you a better picture i have already maxed out the ram and have a rack of SSD disks for additional storage. Battery died out twice so i gave up using it mobile What do you think get the Core X and card or upgrade to a desktop system? What graphics card would be a good bang for buck at the moment? RTX 3600?

Hey guys, as I read from many people before, I also lost my ICC-profile for my Razer Blade Advanced (Late 2021, model RZ09-0409CG53) while resetting Windows on the device. Is there any chance to get the profile back? Since it's a 4K-60Hz OLED, it still looks quite awesome, but I'm also working with Premiere a lot lately and getting back the 100% DCI-P3 profile would be great (especially because I paid for it :wink_:). After some research I found an empty profile called "Blade.icm" at "C:\\Windows\\System32\\spool\\drivers\\color\\", but as mentioned it's empty and cannot be installed. Hi, I've found threads on other communities detailing a similar issue dating back to 2017. If I put my W10 RZ09-0409x (Blade Advanced 2021, gtx3070) to sleep or hibernate, upon waking the trackpad will be jumpy & unusable-- sporadic movements, intermittent click misses, generally poor performance. External mice are not impacted. I've tried various non-OE drivers, older Synaptics software, Windows updates, BIOS updated to latest version to no avail. 100% of the time, upon resuming it will not work. Even disabling the HID-compliant touchpad device prior to sleeping and enabling upon wake doesn't resolve. Linux users are experiencing the same-- so is this a hardware defect or something at the firmware level? Are there any chances of this ever being fixed, or will it be necessary to reboot every time I need to use the trackpad after sleeping? Has anyone had any success in having a functional trackpad after sleeping?

Just picked one of these (165Hz version). Despite the mixed reception with reviewers I really like the monitor, both the design & image quality. Also love the unique cables but what's with the super short USB C cable? Longer please, Razer, or at least provide a longer version in the store :)

I am using a razer fan hub and have been with my Razer fans , I recently took my water pump off my mobo connector to use with the hub , I wanted to delete armory create and the pump was the only think it still controlled . What i noticed is that the razer hub is limiting my Ekwb combo pump to 3999 rpm at 100 percent , though max speed is 4500 , Is there a way to fix this or should i just plug it back into the motherboard pump header ... I just bought a brand new 2022 i9 razer blade 17 and want to upgrade it for maximum and optimal performance. Besides these specifications form the razer website "64 GB DDR5 4800 MHz dual-channel SODIMM RAM" are there any other specification I need to take into account when upgrading my Razer Blade 17 RAM? Info on the website is very limited. Are there any RAM brands or specific modules they recommend for optimum performance or compatibility? Now I live in a very warm climate and would like to give my laptop optimum performance. I noticed some people also replace the thermal conductor on the CPU/GPU with liquid metal. Will the liquid metal help my laptop run cooler? When it comes to Paste vs Liquid Metal, is there a difference in durability? Does one dry out faster than the other?

Hello, I will write it short and straight to the point. Issue: Laptop is overheating because of bad cooling settings. Solution: Allow people to create a fan curve in synapse or hire someone to do that. Issue: Synapse performance modes are bad. You can set Balanced and a Manual Fan speed, but when using custom, you can't select the fan speed and setting the CPU to medium doesn't do anything, it still runs at high clock speed Solution: Allow people to select the fan speed on custom settings, even better, add a fan curve. Issue: Bad fan exhaust Solution: Create a better lid that doesn't block the rear exhaust, many laptops do it, where the back is clearly open and can dump hot air instead blowing it onto a lid.

Just received notification from Razer Synapse that a BIOS update was required (5th July, 2022 - Australia) I followed the instructions to ensure all drivers were up to date, and then installed the BIOS update. System completed the update, shutdown. Then when I loaded up to the Windows 11 desktop and logged in, the start bar did not load and the screen showed the desktop (with trashcan) and nothing else, then immediately flashed white, then repeated over and over, never completing loading the OS. A hard shutdown and restart did not fix it, neither did a BIOS settings reset to factory. I have since done an F9 Recovery and everything is now working. Just have to install ALL of my apps again. Posting this in case anyone else gets into the same boat. Thanks, Shane.
