yeah it's someone else's work that i decided to do :) to be honest work-study job means i get more money, which is what i'm doing but the cash is used to pay for my own tuition fees. so i'm working to pay my tuition fees as a priority. This DIY is much much cheaper as resources are really cheap. materials i can get from university workshop, and usage of the workshop is free too :) it sounds fun to do as well. I just need to get my hands on a defected mouse or something

hopefully i could get my hands on a LED controller. Trying to find a Razer chroma product to cannibalise one.

Really Neat Project. I remember taking a wood shop class in high school and making making a lot cool projects like tool boxes and bird houses. The advance students were lucky and got to build a catapult for a pumpking launching competition. I love DIY projects like this, fun and creative way to make something your own. Thanks for sharing and good luck!

I've got wood for free from my civil engineering department and created a 3D model of the headphone stand i wanna make. However i need a favour from a fellow insider :) my overall dimensions are 200mm by 120mm. Seems a little short hmm..

anyone have the dimensions of a Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma?

    1. Width of headband
    2. Length, breath and width of headset
    3. Vertical length of inner headband to center of earcups
    4. Horizontal length of center of earcup to center of earcup.

Thanks! Will post pictures soon! (My LEDs from ebay just arrived, got em really cheap)

OMG, how can you did it? looks freakin awesome and very interesting.
by the way, with Raspberry Pi, I think you will be able to control light color. the main issue is, how can you find a 16.8M color switchable LED strips.

  15. A banana stand makes a cheap and fairly stylish headphone stand, if you don't feel like breaking your bank.

That's pretty amazing. I keep wanting a stand for my headphones, but there's no room on my desktop.

hehe. everyone i'm not the dude in the video, i'm just trying to make the same thing as him. I can't really afford Razer products (hopefully for now), so i'm trying to make a few for fun, as a little project for myself, boyfriend and one other friend who have two Razer chroma products.

Razer! Get cracking on helping the young lady with this idea.
Then buy it off of her. And produce it.

    So I can buy it!
