Or just wait for it to be available at the MS Store, add a 2nd year for not much ;)
  2. I've been doing some digging. Razer has no record of the BB model number and it does not match the one Amazon is selling for $2,599. BB is RZ09-02385E92-R3U1. Amazon is RZ09-02386E92-R3U1 which matches Razer store. My guess is since RAM and SSD are so easily accessible on the new Blade, Razer has chosen to offer a lower spec model via BB.

I'd be curious to know the following once reviewers get these in their hand.

    - Screen brightness in NITS.
    - Screen response time in MS.
    - Both 1060 & 1070 MQ power supply sizes (200W vs 230W).
    - Battery life with the 80WH battery.
    - Thermals w/ the vapor chamber for both 1060 & 1070 MQ.

I like the design and the fact that there is a 1060 MQ version (no other laptop manufacturer offers a 6 core CPU w/ 1060 MQ in this form factor). The reasoning here is if the 1070 MQ has thermal issues, the 1060 MQ may not, in addition to potentially having better batter life.

After all this time, and still not getting a working Blade Pro, I would happily exchange it for this (and take the hit in costs for the top end one, since I have the top end Blade Pro) if it meant I didn't have to RMA my machine yet again.

Could you make that happen Razer?! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Extremely disappointing experience with Razer! My RB 2015 had two major issues in less than 3 years. The display got replaced due to dead pixels in year 1. Then the system started to experience battery/MB issues in year 3. Customer Support informed my that they cannot fix my RB 2015 due to discontinued parts?! I paid for the system $3,000 CAD. So much for Razer's product quality...

Does anyone have any idea when these will be back in stock? :slightly_sad:

No tech company will ever announce that a new product is coming before they launch it.

In your case, by April it was obvious that other manufacturers had released upgraded models, and Razer would follow shortly.

I hate to put it this way, but you are out of luck. Caveat Emptor.

The refresh is expected. If you haven't noticed, Razer has been offering deals with their laptops. A big sign something new is coming.

You can use an external monitor that has G-Sync. I know it defeats the purpose of having a gaming laptop, but I guess they skipped G-Sync (like MSI's new GS65) because it'll drain the battery even more.

nvidia Youtube channel said that ssd is user upgradable, for up to 2tb with one slot only ;) and with the new Warranty regulations that every company has to accept now, we are also allowed to upgrade it ourself without losing warranty :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Nice! Glad I never sold one of my kidneys away yet on one of the other blades.
Joking, way to expensive for me right now but it is cool in the meantime. I really hope they get rid of the bezels on all of the other models of the blades too.

Come on, its 2018. 1080P, even at 144hz, shouldn't be even a consideration. 1440P is the minimum, especially on a laptop that is large and as expensive as the Blade.

Same boat:) let's see this :fries::beers: and upgrade on the next one;)
Yes, I think you're the first one mentioned it. Maybe it'll come later they just tried the best on the new cassis redesign and try to put it on the competiton field imo.
