So I'm planning to get a everyday use earphones, headphones which at some point of time will be using for gaming as my current Kraken 7.1 v1's USB is a little shaky. Which would be an ideal choice based on your experience using it ? Thanks

Not sure you could really compare them apples to apples because one is an in-ear and one is an over-ear. If you want something really mobile and easy to carry around, I would go for the hammerheads, if you are just using them at home to play games and listen to music, I would go with the krakens.

Is it durable to carry around in a bag ? I somewhat prefer the headphone because im so used to having the kraken 7.1 over my head for very long hours.

I switched not long ago to the pro V2 and i have to say i love them or both gaming and listening (just make sure you get them in black for outdoor use! XD) I love my hammerheads as well i have the Pros and the normal ones-These are both excellent for on the go traveling and are super comfy, and as a bonus they are pretty good at noise prevention. Depends really on what you'd use the pair or pro V2s or hammerheads the most for ---gaming or day to day usage ---

Compared to the kraken mobile and kraken v2 pro which do you find to be more better ?

I have two pairs of Kraken mobiles XD and i have to say they just feel cheep, made from plastic. Granted they fit perfectly on my head and over my ears but they are also very ugly looking. Whereas the Pro V2s are made from lightweight metal and the leather cups and spongey headband are beautiful.

As for sound-the Krakens are good for bass and a semi balanced sound but the Pro V2s are (IMO) near perfect for gaming, i mean i could hear things across map that i didn't even know existed with my old 7.1s i love that you can use either a single AUX jack or the separate mic and audio splitter.

The downside to the Pro V2s is that the mic is very over sensitive, even so that my friends complain that the mic picks up their voices from the headphones over my ears and they can hear themselves from time to time. I mean to me this is a small flaw in an otherwise perfect product.

Oh one really good thing about the Kraken mobiles are that they can fold which is really useful for storage or traveling.

Last question, do you use the kraken pro v2 outdoors ? if yes how do you carry it around ? around your neck or any casing you store them ?

So the Hammerheads come with a nice carrying case and I think there is one abailable for the Kraken too. In general , if you have the extra money , I would go for the Kraken. But if you are often on the go then the Hammerhead is a better choice. So its your desicion which one you need more then the other but if I were you I would pick the Krakens. (I have the Hammerhead pro V2 and Kraken pro <- V1)

Krakens Pro V2 man, hammerheads are also great but they are more for listening to music, travelling and so on, even though they are gaming headphones
