    Hey all you Razer fans,

I'm currently trying to fix an issue with this new monitor that I just got a few days ago. I realize that after I bought it the HDMI port only supports up to 30hz at true 4k. I can play 60 hz on 1080p but it isn't very optimal due to everything (icons, chrome windows, etc.) on the 1080p screen being way too big.

What ways can I hook up this monitor to the laptop to get that 60hz at true 4k? I bought a displayport adapter that plugs into the monitor, which then allows me to plug in the hdmi cord into the adapter and the laptop, except the monitor is not reading when it's connected via that adapter and shows the blade pro as the only screen.

I'm not completely sure what to do or what to go out and buy. I don't have many stores near me and the nearest Best Buy (aka electronics store for cords) is 10+ miles away. I do have a Lowes and Home Depot near me but I wouldn't know what to get.

    Thanks for the help!

Did you try asking that on Tom's Hardware? Usually there are experts on this topic.
