Hey, my name is Dericast and these days in the process of exiting school for the summer with the money I've been gifted I have been online shopping for new components to my near future set up, but here's what's up, I am on a really small budget compared to the "normal" PC gamers, I am going to buy this in a few days and to me it is decent for the price and I've done my research, it can run some not-too-heavy games on low or medium settings, it was originally about $700 so the price drop is good and I've been wanting to get into PC gaming for a long while (I've been gaming on my PS3 for about 2 years).

So to all the PC gamers with a little more expertise, I ask you:

    Do you like cheese?

I wish I could help you. I really want to but I'm in the same sorta situation. Not as far as being new, but I'm looking to upgrade, not the biggest budget or knowledge on hardware. Welcome to the race though dude.

If you want to get a powerful PC for a similar price look at Best Buy for the Asus Essentio series I have one it lags sometimes but it can run most Bethesda games and other triple-a titles

I dont know much about amds intergrated graphics I have never really heard of anyone being impressed by them. however for the price that should be a pretty decent laptop for casual low res gaming. the only thing to worry about is how well it will cool. best of luck! and welcome to the cult!

Welcome, but in order to help you more some questions should be asked.
    1) What is your budget?
    2) Are you looking for a laptop, or a desktop?
    3) What games are you looking to play(think realistically)?
    4) Do you want to rage quite while playing games due to poor performance?

    Hope to help you out!

I am 15 years old but have a lot of gaming/tech knowledge, I am saving up for some gear but realistically I don't plan on playing TW3 or GTA5 but simpler games like CSGO, Some Valve Games, Indies and prequels to games like Fallout and COD, I would like a Desktop but I need a laptop because I need it also for school for animating and designing, I almost never rage quit and if I do, I make sure that I am away from everything and have nothing in my hands, thank you

Realistically for most games it would be at 1024x768 with low settings, with the newer games I doubt it would even be able to manage that.

Seeing as the laptop you want looks really bad I am going to recommend checking out this channel.

So take a hit on performance, but don't go with integrated graphics. Try and get something refurbished that has a dedicated card. I had a laptop some 6 years ago with an AMD mobile card and it ran Skyrim along with Fable, and Starcraft 2 just fine. It was $800 new, so I'm sure you can find something cheaper if you look for a refurbished last year's model.
