    Hello fellow Razer friends,
this thread is aimed at proud owners of the Razer Edge tablet. I myself have said tablet and love it to death. I am a little scared to open up the back to replace hard drives and other components inside. But i have seen other threads (on other forums of course), of the people crazy enough to do it. so if you are one these people. Post below on what your new specs are, and feel free to explain how you accomplished this task. Pictures are nice as well.

On a side note my Edge is the pro Series 256gig nothing special done to it. however I am looking into a 1tb msata SSD and possibly replacing the wireless card.

I have the Edge as well! Nice to find someone else who has this lovely little beast. I am still in the first year of ownership and therefore under warranty so I have not had the guts to open mine up either.

It's really scary lol but ultimately makes the tablet so much better depending on what you do to it

Sure, I'm not a perfectly smart tech savvy person. However I know how to research products. That being said after long hours on the phone with razer support, and some insides from another forum. It is very possible to upgrade your SSD to a 1tb SSD, depending on your default model of the Edge you purchased that alone greatly improve your storage capacity. Allowing for my more games for starters. Then you can go about upgrading your wireless card which is one of the scary options, mainly because there is 2 wires that are your antenas. These pop, yes I said pop out of the wireless card. Replacing the wireless card is one thing, I highly recommend doing. Mainly because the default card has issues with distance, which affect your upload, download speeds. It also drops wifi a lot.

There is also a way to change the ram. However I don't recommend doing this, mainly because 1 ram stick is easy to access on the back of the tablet the other stick is located in the front of the tablet (or so I've been told). Also on the front of the tablet is your graphics card. This can be updated thanks to the advances in our technology. I haven't read to much on replacing my graphics card because Im happy with the default card, But it is possible.
