  1. It was incredible! However, one caveat is the expense, while another is the extremely small field of view. Still, with a little more refinement, it will be an amazing product, and I am exited to buy one when they officially release.

What was it like seeing the holograms? And using hand gestures to control things? Can you explain your experience with it a little?

Vive and Oculous are VR headsets.....Hololens is an AR headset. Completely different, maybe thats why you havnt heard of it if you have only been following VR headsets.

But then...what is razer going to sell? Mice and keyboards wont be needed anymore since we can just control the computer with our brain.

That's their problem, something like chroma brain

But honestly I don't think competetive gaming will be influenced by mind controlled electronics that much

unless.....you control your characters with your mind. no need for a mouse or keyboard if i can run, turn, shoot, and use all my moves with just thinking about what i want my character to do. thats an interesting thought. gaming is probably going to be a lot more fast paced because the movements are coming straight from your brain waves instead of having to be translated to finger movements on a mouse or keyboard which takes time to process and move your muscles.

Jeah but all reactions will be so perfect, won't it be boring. Also you wouldn't feel like you improve I think.

I'm told that the HoloLens as it is will be aimed at enterprise (companies) and not consumers. There will be a much cheaper alternative apparently < $500.
