[Status update] Blade 2016 shipment

    I got my blade yesterday, and I must say for those wondering, it is the nicest laptop I have ever seen, by far. Sure the bezel is a little big compared to other options, but it doesn't bother me one bit. I haven't played any games yet, but every other part of this laptop is phenomenal, so far. If you are still waiting and are getting discouraged, I was waiting since March 30th. If I knew then, what I know now, I would've happily waited with a smile on my face. Sure the delay was frustrating, but they certainly delivered on the perfection side of things. This laptop will not disappoint.

    Really? You didn't install the intel chipset or any of that stuff on Razers site?

    Guys does the initial startup when you first turn the blade on take a ridiculously long time? I entered my wifi settings, the laptop automatically rebooted and now i'm sitting at a blank screen with the keys lit up. Is this normal?

  6. No, I had the Razer driver page bookmarked, etc... Once the Windows install was complete I went to install one of the drivers, but was already installed. Then checked and Razer Synapse was already there as well. I checked and video drivers were already up to date, network, etc... I'm assuming when creating the USB recovery it pulled the drivers.
  7. I'm pretty sure that's not normal. Both stealth and blade were very smooth. Not very quick but after wifi I got into Windows 10 ready to go

    Linus got the new Blade! This means we can expect a review from him soon if he doesn't break it beforehand.

  11. I cannot believe it. I just received an email saying that my order was canceled. After waiting 2 months and through several delays my order was canceled.

    I am extremely disappointed and at this point have lost so much respect for razer. I have heard so much positivity about this product but my order being canceled has just been so heartbreaking . all this is because my credit card was stolen and they didn't charge it until it was changed. It took me reaching out to razer to figure out why my product wasn't shipping to figure this out.

  12. Same thing happened to me this morning. I am now going to receive my blade June 17th or later unless I get it from MS store.

    ): im happy for you man but i ordered march 26 got an email saying you blade will ship soon and nothing? this is a nightmare Razer technokat do razer CS work on weekends? do they ship on weekends? did my order get canceled and why?

    Well you certainly have the right to disagree. But I've worked in multinational banks for the past decade and continue to do so. I know very well how the system works. And you don't really know anything other than what you've been told - yet you believe it. I've had nearly 5 digit credit balances accumulated in a single night, out of the country and without and pre authorization. IF charges were even attempted (and remember, everyone currently dissatisfied got NO NOTICE WHATSOEVER UNTIL THEY POSTED ON A FORUM), there's immense evidence to suggest the retailer dropped the ball. Seriously, you were in the boat with all of us - don't dismiss everything you experienced first hand simply because some other life raft came to your rescue

    EDIT: My MS store order of the Razer AND my Amazon order of the 950 pro were both DELIVERED to my home BEFORE Razer support even confirmed my cancellation. What does that tell you?

    Is the buzzing noise similar to that from an iPhone when you put your ear against the back of it? Is the buzzing from the Blade so bad you want to exchange it?

    Nah, it's electricity on the board I can hear. It's not defective. Thanks man.

    I'm quite worried. Someone on Reddit posted audio recording of that buzzing, and it seemed quite loud and annoying.
  20. I had to contact support, as the system never recognized my registration. They were able to have image-line send me a product key and download link.
