    Obviously everyone wants the popular items and these items just presumably sell out within seconds? That's your customer appreciation event? Wow kind of disappointing.

    The ceo announced that it's expected that everything will be quickly out of stock. you need to be quick and lucky. if you aren't that, you miss your chance.

    got to be more than quick for this, the sale starts at 10am UK and everythings out of stock by 9:30am already. what a joke.

    That's because this year's CES Razer never put a rule that says insider should at least have 20 or more messages in their account in order to join the insider sale. People from media announced that Razer will be doing a 50% off sale for the CES appreciation and everyone wants something from it.

    I'm fine with the way the sale went for the most part. Yes, it's unfortunate that the inventory went away so quickly, and maybe they intentionally reduced inventory to not take such a huge loss, but as others and myself experienced, having the item in your cart with the promo activated, pressing checkout just to have the item be booted out of your cart was extremely frustrating. I had the Leviathan with the promo activated 5 times, and each time it kicked me out until finally it was 'out of stock'. I've never experienced a sale where adding an item to your cart didn't reserve the item for you.

    But, yeah, most places give you some 5, 10, or 15 minutes 'hold' after putting something in cart.

    Yep very very disappointing, seems like more of a marketing ploy than a sale. I couldn't purchase due to site issues then out of stock, within minutes after it went live in the UK. Incredibly frustrating, and lost a customer due to the way it was handled unless things restock through the day.

    What adds to the frustration is it seems people were able to add multiple items to their order despite the promotion saying it was for 1 item only. Those of us that stuck to the rules weren't able to buy anything.

    Sale started at 9am in the UK. You read wrongly. Your fault. What a joke.

    Clearly stated in the terms and conditions that items are only reserved once you get a confirmation notice.

    Started at 8:24AM in New York and everything is sold out. Ridiculous. Thanks for nothing!

    Well, honestly speaking, luckily I was able to buy blackwidow 2016 when the promotion just started.
    But how could you know some people did multiple sale purchases?

    The thing you all are not understanding is that anyone with a Razer ID was able to buy at 50% off, I moderate 3 FB pages related to gaming which has more than 10k member each and in all of them the hot topic was about this sale. The deal can obviously be offered in limited stock because it is not practical to have a million item in stock. You should have logged in at the right time to grab what you wanted, the timings were listed very clearly and if you misread it then it is not company's fault.
    Everything is mentioned in terms and conditions, may be you should have done your homework before the sale started to know what to do.
    @Demonmaker : CET time: 10AM is 1 hour ahead of GMT time so in UK you should have looked out for 9AM.

    How can you log in "at the right time" when you DO log in at exactly the time the sale starts and everything is already in "Notify Me" status? Seems more like you're trying to stop the bleeding rather than giving us straight answers. Obviously you guys were not ready for this "sale", or didn't anticipate the volume. In either case it's the "company's" fault, not the consumers.

    "at the right time" doesn't mean exactly when the sale starts, if you try to log in exactly when the sale starts you will either encounter a busy server denying you access or will be too late to grab what you need. The trick is to log in earlier and keep browsing the site, keep the connection fresh.
    Well.. cant satisfy every single person on this planet, can they? Many people got what they wanted, many didn't and many people were not able to even think of buying them due to the region related shipping restrictions.

    This is completely different from what you originally said in your original comment. Look, I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but if you guys are going to advertise a huge sale and expect a lot of people to purchase your items, then you should make sure you have proper stock to accommodate.

    I also understand that stock is NOT unlimited and it will eventually sell out. In that case you should give people rain checks, and when the item is available again they can take advantage of the sale. IMO this sale was click-bait and nothing more. This is one of the issues I have with Razer as a company. It's the reason I stopped buying their products. I tried to give them another chance, but these shenanigans confirm my original choice to boycott the products.

    Of course not, but you CAN satisfy your faithful customers who voluntarily signed up for this promotion with rain checks. If Razer is serious about keeping it's loyal fan base happy, then offer us rain checks for 1 item of our choice, it's just the right thing to do.

    The new war cry should be "WE WANT RAIN CHECKS!" If you guys are serious about buying a product and supporting Razer as a company, hit up their social media accounts and be heard.

    I am sorry if you misinterpreted this but I said "at the right time" not "exactly when the sale begins". The definition of right and wrong is enough prove that my statement is fully correct and my explanation later on holds.
    You don't have a clue what "sale" mean, do you?

    Lets just stop using the word "you" because I am just a Community Moderator and I do not work for Razer.
    That goes against the whole concept of a Sale. Probably will do this to every single company doing a sale?

    I'm sorry but I completely and respectfully disagree with ALL of your replies. Also, being derogatory and disrespectful to customers by saying "we don't have a clue" about a certain subject just goes to show how unprofessional you are. I will never buy another Razer product again and I will pass this information to all of my friends who buy products from Razer.
