I absolutely LOVED playing the beta for this game. Innovate UI, awesome AI, cool PVP in the darkzone, amazing concepts, great graphics, etc. I loved it all. What did you guys think? Are you excited for the final release? Do you believe the game will be worth $60?

It ran pretty smooth for me on ~medium settings. I didn't play a lot because I really didn't care to mess with the pvp so there was only like an hour or so of game play. It seemed like it could be a fun game, but I probably won't get it till I talk some friends into buying it.

I didn't make it in to the beta, so I can't answer. lol
I think one of the poll options should be "I didn't get in"

It was good but not as impressive as i was hoping it would be we. Will still get it i have it pre ordered but it left me wanting more. Ive been following this game since i first saw footage of it back at e3 2013 and was amazed at how it looked the graphics, the gameplay, the setting. Will be interesting to see how this game will play out when it releases

I really enjoyed the beta. The open world coop/solo part of the game looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. The dark zones need a little work. But over all the game was good. The way ubisoft handled the closed beta was disappointing again.

So when I ended up trying it out for the pc, I cant stress how much more I enjoyed playing it on this platform. I'm still baffled they weren't going to have it for pc. Am I the only one that thinks it feels a lot like watchdogs though... I was initially really looking forward to this game because I've been waiting for some new fresh games and after having that experience I really don't know. I hope the actual game has a lot more to offer.

I agree. The beta lasted, what, 5 days? It was from the 1/29/16 to 2/2/16. There was barely any content. One story mission, it was missing 3/4 of the menu functionality, hardly any side missions, and the dark zone seemed extremely undereveloped. Also, the map was really small. I hope the beta was less than a quarter of what the finished game is supposed to be.

I absolutely loved it. Class-less RPG with by far the best social experience for a game! Fantastic!

My guess is that was just a small taste of the whole game. I mean you could only level 1 of 3 wings to 20 percent. Not to mention I'm sure there will be a lot more of those encounters around. If anything they just need to add some more baddies randomly around the world to keep the action more lively. I'm more concerned about the dark zones and the mass of cheaters that popped up towards the end of the beta.

I hope they develop a way to make straight up lurking and murking less profitable in the Dark Zone. That area has the most potential of the game, but the amount of shady PvP stuff happening there made it kind of annoying.

I didn't pay much attention to the game until very recently, but I am excited for it.

I'd like to hear more from our guys here - I had the beta but didn't manage to play it :slightly_sad:
Been getting some mixed reviews so far but thought I should give it a shot at open beta.

I enjoyed it. I just think there are parts that need to be tuned some more.

My biggest complaint, other than jerks in the DZ, was the way it handles headshots. It bothers to tell you that you got one, and give you a tiny XP bonus, but they don't take the guy down in one shot. Having to put 2-3 headshots into an NPC with a rifle that is doing 2000DPS (vs most of the other weapons at that level available to you being in the hundreds) is pretty annoying.

It's worth playing, though it has some kinks to be worked out, for sure. It was immersive and fun, and I really enjoyed the RPG-style character leveling and soft focus on FPS physics/skills. (I am probably biased because everyone compares the leveling system to Diablo 3, which happens to be my favorite game.) I pre-ordered it after participating in the closed beta.
