It’s not IPhone X level camera but it’s not bad from this recent review.

like I mentioned before, if instead of comparing and start "seeking" the good side of it, you'll start to love it.

The camera quality is superb, but if you start sliding it into S or iPhone X you'll start questioning yourself.

thanks for the updates, never said I was comparing to other phones, I just wanted to know from real people that have the phone and not a jaded reviewer.

I would say it has the capability to do much better.

I have both the Razer phone and the HTC U11. The HTC U11 does great with bringing out more lighting in pictures, more colors, and overall vibrancy. It seems to have better focus as well.

Some shots with my HTC U11 outside on a bright day; however, has shown to be overexposed (brightness too high), and with the same shot with my Razer phone, colors were more accurate, the shot was more vibrant, and overall looked better.

I was going to say that top pic looks real nice compared to the bottom lol

I've taken a few pics, some are good some are bad, but overall I'm sure it'll just take some tweaking.

The quality of Razer camera is rated as 'good' only, compare with iPhone and Samsung s8 edge which is 'very good', it is understandable as Razer Phone focus much on GPU and battery life for better gaming. However, Razer also promised to upgrade its camera software from time to time so that we all can have a better photo shooting and video taking experience.

This guys take Razer Phone on his Trip to Scotland, he is satisfied with photo quality but video due the focus isn’t so impressive for him (all non edited photos that took without tripod) but overall okay...btw sorry in german, just mute it;)

Video stabilization seems a bit jerky. Otherwise pretty nice photos! :)

I agree. I don't think that camera is really bad. One issue I do have is focusing. This is for photo and video.

Interesting enough I found an article about the Dual PDAF technology. Which the article basically talks about the Razer's camera hardware since it uses the same Samsung Galaxy S7 sensor including the Dual PDAF.

If they also fix HDR or add something to make colors more vibrant, I'd be fine. It does work pretty great though in perfect lighting.

The camera isn't bad there is much worse and anyways this is a phone for gamers and the camera will mostly be used for AR games and things like Snapchat. If people want a brilliant camera then its best for them just to go out and buy a DSLR instead of using a phone camera. I'm currently using an iPhone 5c so I can tell you what a terrible camera is lol as photos are low res and impossible to make look better in photoshop without it being weird. The Razer Phone is all about the screen and speakers and of course that 8gb RAM

I believe the keynote focused (ba dun ching) on 5 aspects they wanted to 'perfect' iirc.
'An amazing camera!' is what he said I believe. It's been awhile since I've seen it. :)

Damn cyber Monday, should I get galaxy S8+ for €500 or Razer Phone LE for around €950;) Not bad deal for learning Android phone imo right, or should I get directly crazy expensive LE one...

    The S8 suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked.
I'm guessing the S8+ sucks just a tad more.

Okay, I’ve a week to get it since I just ordered it for store pickup and pay at store, yes it seems not so popular, usually it would be sold out in few hours or maybe minutes if it’s a good deal, well I think I should make a negotiation with the LE seller, since €950 it’s a bit crazy for it, it costs same with my ultrabook;)

    Just get the SE lol
If you really must have a green razer sticker for it, I'm sure the 'Limited Edition Razer Phone Stickers' will pop up on ebay soon. :) (along with a ton of Limited Edition Phones)

Chiming in to say that yes, the Camera is absolutely abysmal. It's budget phone quality. Now, I don't know if this is due to hardware or software so hopefully updates will make the camera better but as it stands, right now, the camera is middle of the road and can't compete with any other flagship phone's camera. I say this coming from an S8.
