Hey guys! My laptop's battery is starting to bulge, so I need to replace it. I've already ordered the replacement, but I'm not quite sure how to take out the old battery, which I need to do ASAP. Can anyone who's gone through the process please give me some tips? I was watching this video to make sure I knew what to do (please skip to the 6-min mark if you're not sure what I'm talking about in the next paragraph): But it's about an older model whose battery and chassis are a little different from mine. For example, I *think* my touchpad ribbon cable doesn't unclip like the one in the video (though I'm not sure), and the battery connector looks different. Do I just yank it out or what? How do I detach the touchpad cable? Sorry for the dumb questions, but I'm not used to handling hardware and don't want to do any damage. Can anyone who's replaced/taken out the battery of a Razer Blade 2016 (14'') weigh in? Thanks in advance!
