Weekly Recap Ideas!?

  1. So in a couple of other forums I attempted to do a recap off news and all that, at a guild I used to have I did a similar thing but I also tried to keep the community active with recapping threads that happened in the forums. I would love to do this again, with all the notable threads for that week in one neat recap.

It should read like a book. With possible pictures and what not as well. I don't mind doing all the work, as I've done it plenty of times.

And not to be 'that guy', but people seem to like them. Even though comments on them weren't happening too often, it still gave you an up to date on the happenings.

Now I'm asking for some ideas on how to do a layout on this one. Maybe some crowd sourcing required with the most active threads. Reduce the clutter that might happen after a while.

    Thanks in advance.

I like the idea, but I don't know if that is actually possible though. It's usually people asking questions. and the posts from the Razer people are pinned at the top usually.
But if you can find a working method I'm more than happy to read it, if not help you with it.

Are you planning on making two threads?

One for crowdsourcing and one just for the results? This way it would be easier to read, if there aren´t comments interrupting the compiled info.
  4. Not sure yet. It might be turning into that clutter that way too. I'd say, I'll do a test model this Sunday, Or I'll keep one as a crowd sourcing type and keep that one active, and mention it each recap so that one keeps active too. I'll have to look into this. Now I'm getting ideas again. Thanks! Keep em coming!

Oh, now I know what to do:

You just update them in the first post with edits and spoilers

    Nice and compact :)
  6. Mhm, that could work, but is this one for the crowdsourcing or regular?

This is for the summary that you are planning on writing. So people can crowdsource in the same thread and all the summaries are on page one in the first comment.
  8. Aha, gotcha. Yeap, I'll have to give a disclaimer and hope everyone collaborates who-ever wants to, Probably gonna have to give a 'spoiler insert' tutorial.
