Razer Pro click refuses to go into pairing mode / cannot be detected by any devices to perform a pair.Currently:It is impossible to pair it with another new device or previously used device. There is no option hard reset the mouse.Firmware has been updated and is up to date as of today.Flashing previous firmware does not fix the issue or reset the mouse. One of my laptops can connect to the mouse, the behavior is really strange.Upon turning on the mouse - it does not connect. After holding the pairing/switch button for 3 seconds, it connects to the laptop instead of going into pairing mode. Moreover, this happens on all three BT slots, meaning that regardless of which BT slot (blue, green, yellow) I try to enable pairing on, the mouse get connected to the laptop on that slot. This is cursed behaviour, especially from a premium product from a premium brand, that has been on the market for over 4 years. Some Razer engineer screwed up big time here, so please provide a firmware update as soo
I am using a Pro Click Mini for almost 2 years but recently, it was unable to connect to any Bluetooth Devices that have already been paired. I tried to remove the mouse from all my devices and re-pair all of them, however, none of my devices (3 Windows PC and an Android phone) were able to detect the mouse. Connection via the dongle is fine, but I can’t get the Bluetooth to work. Any help?
I have a Razer Goliathus Chroma, and I would like to know the best way to clean grime and build up over time where the mouse is located on the mousepad surface. I currently have inverted the mouse mat, so the top is at the bottom lower right vs normal of top on upper left. I've tried normal alcohol wipes like for cleaning keyboard but no success on the mousepad. What do you recommend other than purchasing a new mousemat?
I am just wondering whether there will ever be a practical deathadder again. The new deathadder models are cool and all but i would much rather have a 2.4GHz connector slot in the mouse and additional bluetooth connection (like the cobra pro) and with good battery life than things like 8k polling rate.So my question is...will there ever again be new deathadder models that offer such functionality?
Hello.I'm using an English translator. Please understand.I own a DeathAdder V4. I recently purchased a Viper SE. Is the dongle included with the DeathAdder compatible? Also, aside from the components, are the Viper V3 Pro and SE the same mouse in terms of performance and internal structure?
As a left-handed gamer, I’ve always appreciated that Razer offered an ergonomic mouse designed for, specifically, the Deathadder Left-Handed Edition. I just wanted to throw in a suggestion (in case this is somehow seen by the Razer team), it would be amazing to see a left-handed version of the V3 or any future models. I was a big fan of the original and would love to see support for lefties return.
Hi Razer and fans,For nearly 25 years, shortly after the launch of the original Boomslang, I became a fan of Razer mice. I bought several of them after testing my first at a LAN party — I own the Boomslang Collector’s Edition, and I used the left-handed DeathAdder at work for some years. At home, I’ve been using the Ouroboros for many years now. However, the buttons are starting to become unreliable, so I’m looking for a new mouse. Is there really no good left-handed mouse from Razer except the Naga? Is there anything in the pipeline? You’re celebrating 25 years of the Boomslang with a very expensive Anniversary Edition, but have you forgotten that many left-handed gamers used it because there weren’t many good options for left-handed gamers back then?I’m sad that after so many years I might have to turn my back on Razer because it feels like you’ve forgotten or are ignoring us. :(Why is there no new left-handed DeathAdder V4 or Basilisk? Will new options become available to us, and if
Hi, I have a Viper Ultimate mouse and its shell broke. I'd like to know if it's possible to replace it to keep the mouse working.
Hi,I have changed my macros on Razer Deathadder v2 X HyperSpeed with Razer Synapse (version 4.0.86.2510220630). Specifically I have changed what scroll click does (typing a letter W). After I resetted this setting to default (scroll click to scroll click) it still does type letter W. It happens when Razer Synapse is off. When Razer Synapse is on, it works as normal. What I tried:I have tried to:[Reset profile] > [Reset key binds] or[Reset profile] > [Reset profile].Also, I ahve tried to make a new profile, and delete the default one. Also, I have tried to reinstall/repair Razer Synapse application. Also I tried to rebind scroll click for example to M, and then to scroll click, but then when Razer Synapse is off, it types M.My firmware for mouse is newest (1.02.00). For dongle too.Can you help me?
The Naga Left handed version is the best mouse I have ever used. Not just for gaming, once you map copy/paste/screenshot, enter and a bunch of other functions to the mouse for work, there’s no going back. Would love to have a wireless version - a left-handed v2 Pro.Is there a place where we can petition / gather signatures for it?Please :-)
Hi!I have Basilisk v3 Pro paired with Mouse Dock Pro. Updated firmware to latest version for both with razer updater. Synapse Beta.My mouse is disconnected after 3 minutes of downtime (measured with a timer) - the tab in Synapse just disappears. No Windows disconnect sound. When I start using the mouse again, it becomes connected but my custom lighting settings are reset to default breathing. To return my settings I have to switch to quick effects and back to advanced effects. In power settings “wireless power saving” = 15 min, in lighting settings “switch off lighting” = 10 min, “when display is turned off” = true. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Perhaps I missed some settings.
This peripheral pictured is a ROG STRIX HIVE. It's an external extension of my computer's motherboard. As you can see, the dongle that came with my mouse is incomplete. The metal shield remained inside the port, very stuck as if something was clamped down on it. It could only be removed with pliers and a lot of careful destruction. Has this happened to anyone else?
Hello,I am a customer living in South Korea.I purchased this mouse on June 29, 2025. When I first opened the package, I noticed some marks on the exterior of the mouse. At the time, I did not think much of it and continued using the product. However, recently, the marks have become more noticeable, which is why I am contacting you. This is my first time purchasing a Razer product, so I am not sure whether this is normal. I would like to ask if this is considered a defect, and if so, whether it is possible to exchange the product. Please note that this message has been translated, so there may be some inaccuracies in my wording. I appreciate your understanding.Thank you for your time and support.Best regards
Hello all,I have recently gotten a new setup from my work and I wanted to get a good mouse, so naturally I have come back to Razer. That being said, I am having a difficult time deciding which one if any best suit me. So I decided to come talk with the other tech nerds and get y'all's opinion. Below I’ll entail my experience with the two most recent mice I’ve used including what I liked and how I gripped. My first Razer was a wired Razer DeathAdder Essential. I got it when I got my new GIS laptop which ended up being great for gaming. I liked the length and width of the mouse, and I especially liked the flaring at the end of the mouse buttons (clickers). I often found myself in a hybrid palm/claw like position. When I went to grad school and got to spec and custom order two god tier workstations, I was asked to use Dell for the peripherals because it was easier since they were a preferred vendor (and I had already gotten my big workstations from 2 specialized manufacturers). So I relent
I have been a loyal Razer customer for ages now. My first was the Razer Black Widow N7 Edition keyboard and I loved it. Now I am rocking a Chroma RGB and could not be happier. I am also a trackball mouse enthusiast and have been using them since they existed pretty much. I would love to see Razer do a Trackball mouse with lights. I am envisioning lights around the trackball, around the two buttons and on the bottom of the mouse like the under-car led lights these days. Would be sick, thank you and god bless.
I’ve been using this mouse for the long time. The sensor below is still working and glowing red. But the status indicator doesn’t turn on.Any idea what's going on?
Title: Need Synapse 3 Offline Installer for Razer DeathAdder EssentialHi everyone,I have a Razer DeathAdder Essential (Serial Number:632236H19403689) and I confirmed it’s genuine through Razer’s website.I’m trying to install Razer Synapse 3 on my Windows 11 PC, but all download links redirect me to Synapse 4, which doesn’t support DeathAdder Essential.Does anyone have a working offline installer for Synapse 3 or a solution to make my Razer DeathAdder Essential work with full functionality? Thanks in advance for your help!
I’ve had the deathadder for a couple years now and suddenly the battery has been dying within a few days of putting a fresh one in, I lowered the polling rates and reinstalled drivers, but I’m still having this issue. I’ve tried lots of different batteries and it’s still happening.
Hi, for a few weeks now when ever I try to use my mouse with the wireless dongle whatever I do it it keeps disconecting for a few seconds and starts working a few seconds later. If I connect it with the wire it works fine. Are there any dongle replacement that I can buy? Thank in advance
Hi Razer Support,I’m using a Razer Basilisk V3 (wired, USB-A) on macOS, and I’d like to enable the HyperScroll Smart-Reel mode (automatic switch between tactile and free-spin).However, Razer Synapse for Mac does not recognize the mouse, so I can’t access the scroll wheel settings.Could you please confirm: Whether Smart-Reel can be enabled on macOS for the Basilisk V3 If there is any alternative way to enable or configure Smart-Reel without Synapse (or if support is planned) Thanks in advance for your help.Best regards,
Can anyone please advise if there’s a Razer mouse that meets these requirements?Must have a left/right tilting scroll wheel Must allow the programming of the left and right tilt to be any keyboard keys that I want Must be supported on MAC OS, including the tilt wheel configuration, preferably the latest version of Synapse(Note I wasn’t able to get Synapse 2 working on my MAC, it stuck at the login screen)
My razer viper v2 pro receiver stop works out of no where I have another receiver for deathadder v2 x from a friend and I try razer software pairing utility and it's refuse to Pair keep telling me there is a error any help or way
I’m installing this mouse on a laptop that was re-imaged and all my programs wiped. Downloaded and installed Synapse 2.0. It recognizes the mouse but I am stuck with click buttons that match the right-handed version. I am able to toggle between the left- and right-handed modes, but the control never follows.I don’t see a “save” button to force the left-handed mode into the mouse. Exporting the profile only creates a save file for a folder. What am I missing?
I’ve already blown air into the mouse, then when that didn’t help, I disassembled it and cleaned the contacts with a Q-tip. The latter helped for a few weeks, but now I’m back to the scroll jumping by pages or scrolling the wrong way. It’s obviously out of warranty.Do the contacts wear out? Or can I replace the wheel itself? I can’t imagine the wheel is unique to the leftie mouse. I adore this mouse and don’t want to replace it. I’d rather fix it and keep it out of the landifll.
