Razer Synapse

In the Synapse Customize tab for the Naga V2 Pro, there are 4 pictures, 3 represent the 3 different side button panels you can have installed. The one currently installed has a green check mark, however if you change the panel out on the mouse the check mark does not move to the newly installed side panel, it stays on the one that was installed when Synapse started. You have to restart Synapse for it to recognize what side panel is installed. Razer Naga V2 Pro, Firmware Version 1.3.0.0 (latest) on the Mac Synapse 4 Preview Version 4.0.86.2504290730, on MacOs 15.5.

…. didn‘t support the Razer Naga Left Hand Edition? There are so many left-handed people! Many would surely love to use RNLH on their Macs. Please take this into account in the next update! Thank you in advance from a left-handed person who no longer wants to feel disadvantaged.  

Before synapse 4 everything was fine, custom key mapping, chroma and linked games but now, my key mapping doesnt work, chroma rgb’s reactive and ripple both dont work with any key except for fn and linked games keep doubling my games. I am using Razer Ornata v3

I finally made the switch to Synapse 4 and found the contents of the Synapse and Chroma app windows would flicker and glitch like crazy. Luckily I’ve seen this once before and know it happens when an app doesn’t play nice with G-Sync variable refresh rate. The workaround is to create a program profile in the GeForce drivers to enforce Vertical sync for the RazerAppEngine.  

I recently bought the kraken kitty v3 pro and it will not connect to Razer synapse wirelessly. I can connect it fine to my pc via Bluetooth however the mic quality is poor and I am unable to hear any video game I play on it despite messing with the audio multiple times. I am able to connect to the Razer synapse with a wire connection but would appreciate it if I can connect wirelessly since that is the main reason I bought these head phones Any help is appreciated 

Some reason my Blackwidow v3 keyboard has an issue where every time it goes the computer goes into sleep mode and then wakes back up from it the lights on the keyboard do not activate. This only happens when the Synapse and/or Chroma is installed and I don’t even have to be using any application for this to happen. I tried restarting the computer but that didn’t work, uninstalling and then reinstalling the software but no dice there, I even tested this on a different computer only to have the same problem. It doesn’t happen when I power off the computer completely. The only temporary solution I came up with is plugging out the keyboard and then plugging it back in, but that’s not something I want to do long term. Strangely this doesn’t occur on my Basilisk v3 mouse or my newly acquired Goliathus Extended Chroma mouse mat. I assume there is a bug in the software that is causing this and I am requesting that it gets fixed.

I downloaded Synapse 4 today and ran into a problem when putting my PC to sleep. I have a NAGA V2 PRO and usually charge it with a USB cable while my PC sleeps. On Synapse 3 this worked fine but with Synapse 4 it wakes my PC less than a second after I put it to sleep. It only happens if the mouse is plugged in and charging and I know the issue is Synapse because if I close the program before I put the PC to sleep it works normally which isn't too much trouble but is tedious to stop the program when I get off and start it back up the next session. Ive also tried turning off the mouse’s ability to wake the PC in device manager but it only works if I do the same for the keyboard as well which leaves me with only the power button on the PC case to wake it up.

This functionality was promised to be ready with Synapse 4’s public release, so why it is still not available?

Hello my friends, I’m trying to add a key on my Blackwidow V4 X that will let me cycle trough my tartarus v2 + naga trinity profiles in sync.I expected to be able to pull this function straight in the Macro designer, but for some reasons you don’t get Profile Switch options on there.Is there any way to work around this lack of functionality?Is it planned to be added to Synapse 4 anytime soon? Thanks kindly.

Hello i have Synapse 4 installed. I have 3 Profiles Basic LOL and POE2 they are backup in the cloud and everything. All was good until the other day when my POE2 profile didnt work properly. Its show in the selection menu but when i go to make changes to it. doesnt change anything also the game that is link to it cannot be unselected. So i did what everyone would do i deleted the profile. That obviously didnt fix anything. No the profile is gone i can make a new one but the game that was linked to it still shows as selected so the new profile i made can be use with this game because still show that is link to the old one. I have reinstalled the software try clearing the drivers, No success so far.  Thank you . Just bought a Blackshark V3 headset and wanted to test out the THX Game Profiles for Battlefield 6. They posted on Razer official facebook page that it was added in October 2nd. I can’t activate it. I checked several posts on reddit and V3 owners have the same issue while the older headphones are working fine with the THX profile. This is false advertising and I want to ask ,what are you waiting for RAZER TO ADD IT FOR YOUR NEW HEADSETS!!! THEY WON’T FIX UNTIL ENOUGH PEOPLE COMPLAIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA. What incompetence!!

Hi, I have a custom scroll profile for my Naga V2 Pro mouse. I also have browser detection on. I noticed the scroll profile does not go back to my custom profile when I come from a browser window but the default values for the custom profile are used. Does anyone else experience this?This is with Synapse 4

I’ve used the Razer skill to set up lighting routines for a couple years.  It suddenly stop working in Synapse3.  Went through the steps of reconnecting the amazon and razer accounts, and it completes as usual but the skill never enables in Alexa.  Installed Synapse4 with same results.

I have a Deathstalker Pro. Using it with default keybinds is fine. For programs that make the distinction between Enter and Num-Enter, it works as intended.However, if I want to re-program a key or mouse button to ‘Enter’ in Synapse 4, the software will always recognise it as ‘Num-Enter’. Input: EnterOutput: Num-EnterThis isn’t my area of expertise, but I believe Enter and Num-Enter share a code, and therefore the distinction has to be made by a secondary parameter. Or maybe you need to sacrifice a lamb to an old Macintosh? I don’t programming.  Considering how commonplace the distinction is in software, this severely limits the usability of programmable keys..QUESTION: Does anyone have a workaround? Is this something that could be solved reasonably easily?

Hey all, Synapse 4 was working perfectly fine until I decided to give it a refresh by closing it from the system tray. I relaunched it, it automatically updated, and now my laptop (Razer Blade 16 2025) is not being detected. It’s listed as ‘disconnected’ under connected devices.I have uninstalled it, repaired it, performed a windows update, and rebooted my laptop multiple times to no avail.  It seems like a random update to synapse caused this issue, since it was working perfectly fine until I restarted synapse. I use synapse for smart battery charging, etc, so I am kind of reliant on it working properly.  Coming here to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue. 

After 6 months of the preview, I have uninstalled the application on macOS. Below is a list of continued issues (that have been reported numerous times on this forum) with no resolution. Application does not run in the system tray. While there is a system tray icon for Synapse, if you “Quit” (CMD+Q) Synapse, to get rid of the window, the system tray icon (and thus background process) quits. If the window is closed, then it should disappear from the “ALT-TAB” window listing and run like every other macOS app that has a system tray icon. Razer Naga V2 Support The only way my custom keybinds work is to close the synapse app compltelty. When open, my side buttons do not execute the action assigned in the profile. I created a new profile, but when I try to log in, I get the text error "Emily 401." The app just takes forever to load.Can you tell me what the problem is?

Using the most up to date version of Synapse 4 and have Huntsman V3 TKL and Blackwidow V4 75%. Here’s the issue I’m encountering:When I first plug in each of the keyboards, Synapse 4 shows the usual thing of the firmware getting installed and a Windows notification to restart which is perfectly fine and normal.  However after that whenever I disconnect one keyboard and plug in the other, I get a Windows notification again that a restart is needed, which should not be happening.  On top of that if I don’t restart the computer, whenever I use the volume wheel, instead of the volume going up or down it scrolls the webpage up and down instead. 

Hello all, After recently upgrading to Razer Synapse 4, I noticed that the audio quality of my Razer Kraken Ultimate headset has been completely ruined. The audio levels get to an abnormally high level to the point where the audio crackles and cuts out to a really quiet level before quickly raising its own volume and repeating the process. Raising or lowering Windows volume has no effect, the volume stays constant. After some digging, I discovered that the “Device Default Effects” setting in Windows Audio Settings were the culprit. However, by turning the effects off, it completely disables all the features that Synapse offers (I personally use a custom EQ for my headset, turning this off disables the EQ).  I tried going back to Synapse 3 to see if it fixed the issue. The issue was temporarily fixed until I opened a game. My volume became abnormally loud and everything started crackling and cutting out.  Does anyone know what is truly happening or have a fix for this? After update to Synapse 4, Blackwidow Elite Media Keys RGB are not fully light up. When I exit from Synapse, media keys RGB are fully light up again.  Synapse 4 Active: Synapse 4 disabled:  Please help.

Hello to all When i first used My Razer Basilisk V3 i installed Chroma RGB app and Synaps 3...Going into Chroma RGB i could simply  select the RGB effect and change  the speed or colours …I never had Razer updates or anything it was awesome… i reinstall windows  and Chroma RGB app and Synaps 4..I opened the   Chroma RGB app the simple settings are gone i now have to use the Chroma RGB Studio app..Even after following the tutorial video i can’t get the effect  to work why Razer made things worse i don’t know..Can i get the older version of Chroma RGB APP back ?? because i rather go back to the very easy simple settings Of  the older chroma RGB app and i do not want to be forced to use studio….

I have purchased the Razer Freyja haptic gaming cushion and am trying to use for Sim racing. I have Simhub but cant see the Freyja when I try and add a new device. I have it connected, on and have the Razer Synapse app aswell. No idea how to connect it.

Hello,I’m using Razer Synapse 4.0.86 and Razer Chroma 4.0.63. I have Deathadder V2, Firefly V2 and Ornata Chroma. I have a strange (and annoying) behaviour, every time the system reboots automatically (for example to apply Windows Update patches, after a blue screen, ecc….) the Chroma lights on every Razer device are off before the login. After I login to the machine, the lights turn on after a while when the user profile starts loading. This does not happen if I manually reboot the system, the lights are on even before the login.Anyone else with the same issue ?It seems something is not restored correctly before the user log in.
