Razer Synapse 4

This is another “will they have fix these bug?” post.I have two major isisues with Synapse 4. Razer Hanbo does not detect the fans and shows 0 RPM for dan speed, and 0° C for my GPU temp The fans on my razer Hanbo seem to just run at mac speed, and have no RGB lights on working If Synapse 4 is open, the media controls on my Huntsman Elite stop working If I close synapse 4, media controls work again If anyone has any fixes for these issues, or work arounds, feel free to let me know

Hello!I’m having a problem switching profiles on my mouse (Naga v2 pro) when I’m connected to my dock pro.Everything works fine when I use an USB cable, but when I try switching profiles on wireless (2.4), Synapse is switching profiles alright, but my mouse is still “stuck” on the last profile (or even on default key mapping sometimes)I found this 2 years old post: It looks like it’s a similar issue.Any idea how to fix this? Hello, I recently purchased a new Naga V2 HyperSpeed and I think I'm having a problem with Synapse. The Windows shortcut for increasing and decreasing screen brightness only works when I plug in the dongle. I don't have this problem with other shortcuts. Can you help me? thanks :)

Hi.Probably all know that macro on synapse 4 not working the same as in synapse 3.I just created support ticket and report an issue, this will be probably the most curved road but maybe I will handle that.I notice that macro from synapse 3 moved to synapse 4 is played once even if option is set “play while assigned key is pressed”There is an option to set a loop for but if I add this option I give a information in synapse 4 that’s it required razer synapse…I have walkaround but it’s impacting on lighting on all your razer devices which might be dangerous for them.When I have installed both synapses - 3 and 4, Im able to use macro from synapse 3 and lighting from synapse 4 but there is some sort of glitch on the lighting, its turning off for a second randomly. If someone will use this walkaround you are using on your own risk.I will update the thread when I will have some information from the customer support.I also encourage you to report any problems with the application because even

Just build my new PC. with a fresh copy of Windows 11 Pro and  download a fresh copy Synapse 4. I have a Tartarus V2 and a NagaV2 Pro. The profiles appear to migrate from Razer Cloud storage. Downloaded fresh copies of my games to new a NvMe drive. I go to test one of the games with the New Synapse 4 and nothing happens. I see all the profiles and Marcos. I tested manually changing to the game’s profile. The profile seem to load but if I press the button the default key action happens. This happened the last time I tested upgrading to 4. I immediately deleted it and went back to 3 with zero profiles issue. I guess something is not functioning properly but I’m not aware of anything else that is needed. For the initial upgraded I followed the step to do it and it failed just as bad.  Any advise other then going back to 3 since it’s near end of life? Thanks in advance.

I want a Synapse macros that (of my Tartarus V2) switch to another keymap and also switch to a different Chroma effect for each keymap. Given that the commands SWITCH KEYMAP and SWITCH CHROMA EFFECT cannot be inserted in macros, I've tried the following workaround.In each keymap I've mapped a key (e.g. key 01 of Tartarus) to SWITCH KEYMAP (from keymap 1 to keymap 2, from keymap 2 to keymap 3 and from keymap 3 to keymap 1) In each keymap I've also mapped another key (e.g. key 02 of Tartarus) to SWITCH CHROMA EFFECT, i.e. a different Chroma effect for each keymap (e.g. "static orange" in keymap 1, "static green" in keymap 2, "static blue" in keymap 3). I've created a macro in which I've recorded they keys mapped above (e.g., on Tartarus: "press key 01, release key 01, press key 02, release key 02"). This was buggy on Synapse 3 and broke in beta. So, grateful to see Synapse 4 was taken out of beta with all the bugs included too.. And even more bugs, as things that were half working now completely don’t anymore.. Awesome progress 😂 Problem: Actuation key travel adjustments do not save, and stay at the default 2.5mm, even when setting all keys using the sync all keys to say the max 3.6mm... it will still stay at 2.5mm!!! This is the most annoying bug, as it has literally removed a major functionality from the device. So, I’d be very grateful if it could be fixed. Then maybe I can at least half use it for something other then using it to catch dust 🤷 And before you say reinstall it, etc.. Already tried  all the 101 of installation fixing..  

This current version of Synapse, specifically Chroma, is very slow. Has been for quite a few weeks now! Upwards of 12 Gb of RAM usage and still freezes. Also not getting lighting effects with Apex Legends. Still needs further testing. Probably try the current Beta. I need an update already! Thanks!

Apparently I’m not the only one with this problem... I bought new headphones for 200 usd, connected them to the PC and synapse, they were detected, but did not respond to the sound settings at all... Equalizer, loudness, noise isolation, and other settings do not affect the headset in any way . The sad thing is that such a small indie company as Razer cannot afford an adequate programming staff. I'm using Windows 11 24H2 latest build.

Razor Synapse 4 has a bug that's been bothering me for a long time. Synapse sometimes minimizes games to the desktop. This even happened to me mid-game in Black Ops 7. The only solution was to manually disable the Razor Elevation Service and the Razor Game Manager Service. One of these two services is causing games to minimize. The error did not occur again in Windows 10 after that.

Synapse 4 fails to detect the default audio device in Windows. Despite the correct headset, the BlackShark V2 Pro 2023, being selected in both Windows settings and the Control Panel, Synapse 4 repeatedly prompts to set the headset as the default device. As a result, none of the headset feature's function, the microphone, volume controls, or EQ settings work. Multiple attempts at reinstalling, restarting, and troubleshooting have not resolved the issue.Thanks. 

I downloaded razer synapse to uninstall a macro on my hunstman mini and everytime i open the application of synaspe it loads up shows me the log in screen then after a second it closes not giving me a chance to log in, without deleting the macro i cant use my keyboad because the macro is spamming keys which was placed by accident but now cant delete it. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

For the last few days now every time I boot up my computer Razer Synapse 4 says that my local profiles don’t match the ones that are stored in the cloud. I note that the local settings are newer and I remember that I did recently make a small change so I choose to keep my local settings, but for some reason it doesn’t want to sync those settings to the cloud. I know that there’s a little spinning circle-type-thing that shows up in the corner whenever it syncs to the cloud but that shit never shows up anymore. I’ve tried to make small changes on all my devices in the hopes of that triggering a sync but nothing seems to want to work, so I’m asking here if any of you know of a way to sync profiles manually. I’ve looked through all the menus I could find in Synapse 4 but haven’t found anything but it’s possible that I could’ve just missed it. Based on the things I’ve read in the last few hours I suspect that there sadly isn’t a way to do this so I’m prepared for disappointment but I want t

Hello,I’m having an issue with my Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini.I created a profile where I set up some keys, as shown in the attached image, and then I saved it to the onboard memory. However, once I close Razer Synapse and reopen it, even directly, the activation mode turns on for all my keys automatically without me doing anything. I want to clarify that I haven’t pressed the Fn/Tab combination either. Sometimes, it happens the other way around: the activation mode turns off completely. The Rapid Trigger, however, remains unchanged. I even tried saving my profile to each slot in the onboard memory, but nothing works.Thank you in advance for your help!

I just downloaded Razer Synapse 4 and I’m trying to get it to recognize my Naga V2 Pro gaming mouse. I checked with Razer to see if the mouse is supported by Synapse 4 and it is. What do i need to do to make this happen inside S4? Howl do l program or configure the buttons? I’m sure that I’m missing something easy. I’m trying to program the buttons on my new Naga Pro. I’ve downloaded Synapse 4 from Razer and I’ve opened it and selected my device, but I am not seeing anyway to do this. I’m sure it’s something easy that I’ve missed. Could anyone please give me directions on how to do this? A simple explanation would be much appreciated!Thanks! 

Before synapse 4 everything was fine, custom key mapping, chroma and linked games but now, my key mapping doesnt work, chroma rgb’s reactive and ripple both dont work with any key except for fn and linked games keep doubling my games. I am using Razer Ornata v3

I finally made the switch to Synapse 4 and found the contents of the Synapse and Chroma app windows would flicker and glitch like crazy. Luckily I’ve seen this once before and know it happens when an app doesn’t play nice with G-Sync variable refresh rate. The workaround is to create a program profile in the GeForce drivers to enforce Vertical sync for the RazerAppEngine.  

I recently bought the kraken kitty v3 pro and it will not connect to Razer synapse wirelessly. I can connect it fine to my pc via Bluetooth however the mic quality is poor and I am unable to hear any video game I play on it despite messing with the audio multiple times. I am able to connect to the Razer synapse with a wire connection but would appreciate it if I can connect wirelessly since that is the main reason I bought these head phones Any help is appreciated 

I downloaded Synapse 4 today and ran into a problem when putting my PC to sleep. I have a NAGA V2 PRO and usually charge it with a USB cable while my PC sleeps. On Synapse 3 this worked fine but with Synapse 4 it wakes my PC less than a second after I put it to sleep. It only happens if the mouse is plugged in and charging and I know the issue is Synapse because if I close the program before I put the PC to sleep it works normally which isn't too much trouble but is tedious to stop the program when I get off and start it back up the next session. Ive also tried turning off the mouse’s ability to wake the PC in device manager but it only works if I do the same for the keyboard as well which leaves me with only the power button on the PC case to wake it up.

This functionality was promised to be ready with Synapse 4’s public release, so why it is still not available?

Hello my friends, I’m trying to add a key on my Blackwidow V4 X that will let me cycle trough my tartarus v2 + naga trinity profiles in sync.I expected to be able to pull this function straight in the Macro designer, but for some reasons you don’t get Profile Switch options on there.Is there any way to work around this lack of functionality?Is it planned to be added to Synapse 4 anytime soon? Thanks kindly.

Hello i have Synapse 4 installed. I have 3 Profiles Basic LOL and POE2 they are backup in the cloud and everything. All was good until the other day when my POE2 profile didnt work properly. Its show in the selection menu but when i go to make changes to it. doesnt change anything also the game that is link to it cannot be unselected. So i did what everyone would do i deleted the profile. That obviously didnt fix anything. No the profile is gone i can make a new one but the game that was linked to it still shows as selected so the new profile i made can be use with this game because still show that is link to the old one. I have reinstalled the software try clearing the drivers, No success so far.  Thank you . Just bought a Blackshark V3 headset and wanted to test out the THX Game Profiles for Battlefield 6. They posted on Razer official facebook page that it was added in October 2nd. I can’t activate it. I checked several posts on reddit and V3 owners have the same issue while the older headphones are working fine with the THX profile. This is false advertising and I want to ask ,what are you waiting for RAZER TO ADD IT FOR YOUR NEW HEADSETS!!! THEY WON’T FIX UNTIL ENOUGH PEOPLE COMPLAIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA. What incompetence!!
