I have a late 2016 razer blade gtx1060 and I was wondering if I would be able to run this game on at least medium to high settings. I really don't want to get it for my xbox one now that I have been playing a lot of pc games on the razer blade. thanks!

The gtx 1060 (even in a laptop) is a very capable card so im sure it can manage medium and I'm sure it could go for highest graphics settings at 1080p 30 FPS +

    at least you'd hope

If not, core is always an option
    depending on the budget ofcourse

i would still rather just build a pc for the price of the core. i love having the razer because its portable but im not gonna drop around 1k us dollars for just an external gpu. i can probably build a decent pc for that

  5. I was curious about the same thing. Part of my concern is just how loud the fans will get while playing it lol.

Really only that less and than on medium? I thought at least everything on the highest state and still 30+

You should have no problems running it at medium to high settings. The minimum requirements are NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB, AMD Radeon 7850 2GB and a 1060 blows those away.

i like a consistent 60 fps. i dont mind a short dip but since it is a single player game i guess it will work with just 30.

The Razer Blade equipped with a GTX 1060 is more than capable of rocking Mass Effect Andromeda no worries :)
    Who bought the game already?
  10. I'm debating whether to get it on my Razer or PS4, but I'll be getting it soon regardless.

Mass effect andromeda would do high settings on a 1060 or even 970m. Looking forward to playing andromeda but the reviews seem to say its just a ok game IGN gave it a 7.7/10 and gamespot a 6. Still on my to play game list though :wink_:

Razer blade should be able to run it easy. But mostly depends on which 1060 you have the 3gb version or the 6gb version. No matter what Mass Effect should be optimized for PC very well. Run it on medium to high setting if you run it max you may overheat.

ive always wondered how i can prevent my razer blade from overheating. i havent had any throttling issues but i would like to undervolt just in case. i downloaded intels extreme tuning tool but it doesnt let me undervolt. has anyone had this issue and how did you solve it?

I am running Andromeda on my Late 2016 Razerblade Pro (GTX 1080). Max settings on default resolution it runs great (might make a video about it this weekend) except that I have to use the latest nVidia Drivers or else it will shut down from overheating (the laptop literally just shut off without warning, and was pretty hot to the touch), this was the first time that has ever happened.) . The nVidia driver solves that, but when I get drivers from nVidia I have a lot of odd issues that are solved with the Razer Driver, such as no matter what I set my screen brightness to it only runs what looks like 50% or less. Also while usually loading games I get a lot of flickering and warping on my monitor.

So kind of between a rock and a hard place until Razer releases an updated driver that supports Andromeda, I use this laptop for work, and the screen brightness issue is kind of a big deal since I have to use it in a well-lit environment and the dim screen makes that more difficult.

I played the game on a friend's PC and for some reason it still doesnt beat Mass Effect 2 and the fun I had back then. I mean they took 5 years to develop something that still feels the same as Mass Effect 3.
