What are your thoughts? Good Or Bad?
Ranked is basically unplayable because of number of suspicious people. I play casual mostly.
If you have an old account with Prime and good trust factor you rarely face hackers. But if you want to play seriously/ competitively just go with Faceit. Their anti cheat is pretty good and less cheaters as well as 128 tick servers.
I have a Prime enabled account with a good trust factor, but the problem are my teammates (well, some of them), who all have Prime accounts, but a bit lower trust factor.
Faceit is great, but I am not that hardcore (at least not anymore ). I am playing this game because of the good company, not to prove that I am the best.
I recently broke my right arm so I left Faceit as well. Just play casual with a couple of friends and we just troll around with deagles and zeuses. But yeah for people who want to compete and get good at the game Faceit or ESEA is the way to go. I have a lot of friends who played Faceit religiously and even though they are younger than me they are absolute beasts now even though back then they were literal Silvers.
Valve servers - nope. FACEIT/ESEA = wouldn't say great but it is what it is.
I mean Valve servers arent bad but for people with low trust factors or newer accounts they will see a lot of hackers everywhere. Faceit has really nice servers if you get good ping on them. Back in Malaysia I had 30-40 ping on them and they were awesome, but people on Faceit are sometimes not serious about the game and since its a free service for the most part people just do their own stuff instead of coordinating.
Speaking of things, can we have a CS GO section for Insider? I have seen sections for Overwatch, Dota and LoL but I always thought CS GO never had one cause Insider higher ups didnt play the game. Would be nice to have a sub-section of the forum dedicated to CS GO.
I guess there's just not much buzz about CS:GO anymore but I'll see what I can do.
I see Dota's sub-section dead as well, I guess most people are busy with their semesters and school years so they arent as active on Insider these days.
