    Hello everyone,

I'm really new to this. I installed elementary OS on a previous machine but as the main OS so it was way easier than this.
I have a Razer Blade Stealth 12.5" (2016) RZ09-01962. I really would like to keep the original Windows install for games and Adobe programs, and run elementary OS alongside it.
But when I reached the partition part I backed off. The number of partition in there surprised me, I have no idea what they do and what kind of partition I should create for elementary OS.

If someone already went through that any help would be really appreciated.

What you want to do is shrink the partition that is labeled as (C) so that you create free space that is the size you need for your second OS.

Then, you can shutdown, insert your installation media, and when installing, select the free space you created for your second OS.

    Hope this helps!

That already clarifies a lot thank you :)
The partition for elementary OS should I create it from the disk manager or during the installation process?
Also what kind of settings the OS requires for the partition?

You should just be able to do the formatting during OS installation using the free space.
