I originally had a Razer Mamba from 2011 last 5 years...spilt some liquids inside it....so I decided hey lets just try another company went with Logitech G502....really nice quality mouse but I did not like how stiff the scroll wheel click was and the side buttons felt awkwards I never got use to it but I did like the size of the mouse feet very nice...

By chance I was browsing Amazon and seen the Deathadder Chroma on sale for 34.99 so I immediatly bought it and glad I did now I have a really nice Logitech backup in my drawer BUT my question about future Deathadders...Will they get the larger mouse feet ala the ELITE version or will that be an Elite version exclusive and will you go back to the non snow tire scroll wheel......I'm torn I want the Elite for the mouse feet but I want the wheel of the Chroma...lol

I also have the Deathadder Chroma! Definitely the best mouse I've ever used, to date. I also want the Deathadder Elite though, because it's a better version. It also, as far as I know, is chroma enabled ;) So if you want the chroma, don't fret! Unless I am wrong, the Deathadder Elite has chroma lighting :)

I don't know exactly what you mean about the mouse feet though.

The little pads on the underside of the mouse, The elite version has bigger pads which generally will provide a smoother glide.

Hey @MASKOAA I see that you do like the DeathAdder Chroma but are worried about the scroll wheel on the Elite, I reckon you don't need to worry too much. I'd actually recommend that you try the DeathAdder Elite first to see how the mouse feels in the palm of your hands.

Ah, okay, that makes sense. I was honestly thinking you meant they stuck out more, kinda like wearing sandals vs. wearing elevator shoes or something, lol, this is why I was confused!

Whats your issue with the scroll wheel on the elite? You dont really notice the texture and the elite version is less likely to get gunky over time. And it should be significantly easier to clean. The grip is also a lot better.

Small improvements like the DA elites scrollwheel shows that Razer knows what they are doing.

Only thing that hasnt been improved which always irked me is the rubber side grips. When they get dirty they are frustrating to clean. Id actually prefer to just have textured plastic, no grips at all or better yet removable grips.

I, myself have had the DeathAdder Chroma. Unfortunately it broke aswell, that's when I decided to buy the Elite as it was cheaper and better. When I started playing I noticed a strange difference in friction control, when i noticed the Elite had upgraded mouse feet. The 2 ones up front was now 1 big one. Around the sensor there is a mouse foot as well, And the one on the back is now bigger. Friction control is now more manageable due to this.

The scroll wheel also is different and provides more grip during gaming. Of course I had to adapt and It wasn't easy but it will feel no different after a while. The way you game is more important, not the gear you game with.
