coolermaster u2 is what I use. i'd give 3.5/5 stars. it does okay in cooling my razer blade since the fans are adjustable but at some time a few weeks ago, one of the fans started making clicking noises. I'm looking to replace the fans.

I use the Cooler Master NotePal X3. Its... alright. To be honest its probably one of the best but laptop coolers are never great so it really doesn't help my Blade all that much.

  4. I use the Havit HV-F2056 (amazon). If nothing else for when I play in bed to keep decent air flow...

I'm using Cooler Master NotePal X3. It really good and my laptop won't overheat while gaming but when I using vztec cooler pad my laptop will overheat.

I'll be paying attention to this thread, after owning the 2016 blade for a week, I definitely need more fans or something. Fallout 4 (high not ultra settings) gets the system really really hot and the fans get roaring. The computer is perfect in every way except for the heat and fan noise.

Honestly, being someone that has tested almost all the 'nice' (read: expensive) notebook coolers on the market, I can safely say that they are mediocre at best. I have never owned a stand that hasn't screamed 'I'm an afterthought!' I'm not even talking about the cheaper stuff, I mean the $60+ models.

The best suggestion I can give from personal experience is to buy a Cooler Master Notepal U2 or U3 Plus, remove all the fans, and then mount your own. The fans that come with it can barely blow a friggin' tissue. As in you can safely stick a :eggplant: in it. Anyways, you can either keep the plastic mounts that came with it and just replace the fans with some nice 80mm standard fans like NOCTUAs - or - remove everything and mount 120mm fans to it (you should be able to do this with the included hardware that comes with the fan).

I bought a Hover X and it's awesome. Airflow from the bottom is enough to keep it cool and there is a giant mousing surface.
