  1. At what point are you going to realize there needs to be dedicated media controls on the freaking keyboard! I would love to sit in the board room and listen to the stupidity of not adding them in. Who wants to hold down a damn function key to control the volume? Cmon Man!

    Why in the H.. would you cheap out and change the design. The 2014 Naga Epic was perfect! Was my go to mouse. Not anymore.... Man, I loved Razer stuff, and now I feel like I've been dumped. No more Razer stuff for me.. A keyboard with no dedicated media controls.. Really?
    Corsair is my new love. They just do everything right. They do everything Razer USED to do. Make a Chroma Naga Epic 2014 edition and a Razer keyboard with dedicated volume controls and I'd probably be a Razer fan again.

    IMO, Media controls are not needed to me. I find it fine just to use the function key. The reason why Razer does not have them may be because they take up to much room. There may also be internal components in the keyboards that stop them from being able to put media controls in them. They may also want to try to keep the prices down on their keyboards a little bit. Keyboards with media keys tend to cost more money in most cases.
    Also, You Don't need to be so negative about everything.
    Its your opinion, And you do have free speech. Those are the Razer Forums, So most of every active user on this forum likes and owns Razer products.

    I hear ya! I'd like them too on a Razer keyboard, I'm still using an old Logitech G510 and I really like the volume scroll wheel and mute button.

    Hmm, I actually don't mind media control removal.

    That being said, I have an amp (Schiit stack (Magni 2 + Modi 2)), which has a really nice volume knob. I pretty much never touch the digital controls.

    Back when I didn't have a DAC+amp, I used the macro keys on my BlackWidow to adjust volume.
    M1 = Volume Up
    M2 = Volume Down
    M3 = Mute?
    M4 = Next Track
    M5 = OTF

    ...volume controls on a mouse? With the Naga, you could always have the volume controls as macros.

    Also... If you find yourself never using F2 + F3, you could always reassign them to volume up and down using Synapse.

  5. I understand this.. But, why not just have a scroll wheel for volume? I own razer products, I just feel like they dropped off a bit. Just no brainer designs are thrown out the window. The new Naga Chroma Epic bites.. It's going on Ebay..
