I have a few questions concerning the Insider rewards. 1. Can the $20 cover shipping? 2. If I get the headphones for free, would it have free shipping because it was over $50 (or whatever it is) even though they are free, or would I have to pay shipping? 3. If I got something really cheap, and used the $20 on it to mostly cover the shipping, and then bundled the headphones with it, or simply used the $20 to cover the shipping on the headphones, would that work? Thanks for responding.

    1. No, the $20 store credit DOES NOT COVER SHIPPING. It only deducts the $20 from the product itself, so if you purchase a product that's $9.99 with a $14.99 shipping fee, you will only receive $9.99 off.

    2. No, you're going to have to pay for shipping. To qualify for free shipping, you must purchase an item worth over $89 AUD.

    3. The $20 store credit DOES NOT COVER SHIPPING.

    3) also you can´t bundle the headphones plus the credit.
I think you can always use only one code a the time

The way it works is that you can use one code per transaction. There is a check box that you mark "Enter Promo Code" and then put in your specific rewards code that you'd like to use. Some codes have limitations or qualifications you must meet in order to use them, others only require "A purchase" of any amount.

As was stated, the $20 off does exactly that: It takes the total of what you are actually spending money on, and then deducts $20 from that total. Then the system figures out tax and shipping on subsequent steps in the process.

If you wished to use the headset code, then you'd input that into the promo code space and it would add it in, then deduct the price of headset from the total at the end.

The only way to get the benefit of more than one promo at a time is if there happens to be something running in the store itself where you buy one item get another free that does NOT take up the promo code space. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes it does happen. Then you can purchase the initial item, get whatever is offered with it and still use one of your rewards promo codes. But to make use of that takes a sharp eye and paying attention, more so than most users ever will.

Edit: @Irenicussss -- Yep, always. Hopefully in the near future us mods can just start combining this kind of stuff into one single thread, answer it all and be done with it. Our hopes is to be able to clean it up a bit and not have everyone else read the same questions over and over, but it'll take time to get to that point. :)

Thank you all for your extremely helpful replies.

Yeah, perhaps not the first time someone's asked that, however there wasn't any definitive answer that I could easily find, so I thought I'd afford you guys a chance for some extra patience building.

Very comprehensive, thank you, I also fully agree with your edit, it is extremely applicable, and would be appreciated by the rest of us.

The exact answer I was looking for, even with helpful caps and bold for an easy skimming. Only one thing, I just checked, and it's $50 USD, which is roughly what I guessed.

In conclusion. You have all answered my questions, and all parts of my questions. Hopefully future people will be able to see a sticky thread concerning this, or find this thread. Either way, I know what I wanted, and have you guys to thank. Thank you all.

    Yes, you're correct.

In the United States region, it's $49 USD to qualify for free shipping.

However, in Australia it's $89 AUD (approximately $64 USD) to qualify for free shipping. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thank you for your appreciation! Glad to help.

Haven't you Mods the power to merge/hide/delete/close topics? Are them prerogative only of the razer staff?

Hmm, Hijacking this thread a little bit. Is the 15% coupon one time use? Or can I buy myself something, and then later buy a gift in another transaction? *or* maybe buy two peripherals in one transaction and get a discount on both? It says 15% off all peripherals, not 15% off one peripheral...

Nah wouldn´t say that a 100$ pair of headset for free is pretty nice, I mean what else do you want more

    :cool_:

Every reward code is a one time use. However, Insider refreshes rewards about every 3 months which would enable you to use the same tier coupon again. For example, you use the 15% coupon, Insider refreshes Rewards at the end of April 2016, you may now use the 15% coupon again (assuming it's still there and they haven't changed the reward to something else).

Perfect, that's good news. I'd like to be a good gift giver and this will definitely be a great help :)

I mean, what beats Razer stuff for your Birthday or Christmas am I right? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This is one question where I honestly don't have an answer for you, because as you say, it doesn't state that it's only one item. So, I think there's at least a chance that if you were to put multiple peripherals into your cart, enter that code and then see the new total, that it might possibly give 15% off the cart and not just one item. That is something that you would find out for certain if you just picked what you wanted, added the code and then saw the results for yourself. Then you could choose if you wanted to just buy one item, or stick with multiples.

We are working on those particular mod privileges at this time, currently we can only do so in two sections, but there are other admins that we can communicate with to handle the other areas if need be. Originally when we were chosen we couldn't make any changes yet, but it's a program in beta, if you will, and we're feeling it out as we go and making necessary adjustments. I'm sure that even though they've "known" us well enough here on Insider for a while, the actual paid staff still needs to test the waters and be certain that things aren't abused, misused, etc. It's a learning process for us all. :)

Maybe you can start gathering topic in which common question are asked and then prepare a sticky one with all the links to the discussions (and the short answer), so that when you'll have the power to close and merge discussion it will be much easier to redirect users to the most meaningful topic :)

Yes it works. As you can see, the 15% coupon applies to each individual item in my cart except for the Blade. In many cases, you would be better off using the $20 store credit code (if what you are buying is < $133.33). Surprisingly, the Nabu, Laptop Stand Accessory, Forge TV, and Backpack are considered "peripherals."

    REALLY hope this helps!

@erato That is definitely something we're doing.
I suspect that @NazgulStig @Destrok @Lafar and @Vivulux and myself are all taking notes. lol
Though, we are also chatting with the actual Razer staff as well. Eventually it'll all be ironed out, but it's still going to take time. :)

@Raijin Thanks for checking that out!! I've already used that code for myself, so I can't see the effects any longer. lol
I'm also not the least bit surprised that the Blade isn't included, since it's technically a "system" and not a "peripheral" though, I am surprised with the ForgeTV, I assumed that was a "system" as well.
