My money's on MSI or Dell/Alienware. They've made external GPUs before, so why not improve upon what they've already got?

Maybe - I couldn't find any in a quick hunt on amazon. It's very tight and the latching mechanism that the pull handle connects to is on top of the enclose right where the wires would pass by.
  3. I'm glad to see that confirmed. I have another request, when you open it again would you mind taking some pics from the other side of the core innards? I'd like to see how accessible the wiring is and what type of connection it has to the circuit board with the pcie connector. Thanks.

Are you going to power your RBS with photons as well? Or it will actually be a hybrid cable?

having a .5m cable makes it harder to set up a dual screen using the abs for me. I need to during out how to arrange my desktop now....

There are supposed to be such hybrid cables, but of course they will be very expensive...

How so? Just make your DVI/Display Port/HDMI cables long enough to reach wherever you place your monitors...

I just benchmarked the Core with the new Skull Canyon NUC (which should perform comparably to the new Blade 2016). I borrowed a friends GTX 980 because my Ti Hybrid won't fit in the enclosure X_X

Anyway, here's the initial results for Firestrike 1.1: 9770

Check this out - running the GTA V benchmark outside of the enclosure! I think this means I'll have to try my 980 Ti Hybrid later :)

2550x1440 performance with a lot of the extra graphics settings cranked up still provide a very playable 60fps average.

well the review was nice but he didn't focus on the most important aspect the performance
and is his scores are not consistent with what other people is showing ?
I am also waiting for some more other channels for solid review like Tested or Dave 2D

Let me know if there's something else you want me to take a look at and I'll try to add it. I'm adding some more gaming benchmarks within the next couple hours and also putting some more info about how the XPS is doing with it. I was hoping nobody would find that before I got a chance to update it. :)

Can you please point me to what other scores people were getting, that I'm not consistent with?

  19. Regarding stock do we know when these will be restocked? I just ordered my New Blade 14 512GB and my $100 voucher says it's good until June 17th, 2016. I ordered the New Blade over the previous strictly for the Core.

Your guess is as good as ours. They've been pretty silent about the whole thing - my guess is they are either waiting for their next shipment to get in / clear customs and that's why we are held up. From a customer service perspective, if they start selling / don't start shipping it's just going to cause more work and delays.
