  1. Hi,

A few days ago I bought the Razer kraken 7.1 v2 chroma edition. When I wear it, it fits really good. Everything is very good about this headset but there’s one problem for me. When I put up the volume the windows sound is very loud. It is just ear bleeding loud. But when I’am playing Rocket League (yes only rocket league and i dont know why..) my sound is really weird and very low. My in-game sound is maxed out and still have this problem.

Edit: The windows sound is always very loud compared to my games that I play.

I used to have a kraken 7.1 and the same thing happen.I believe there is something wrong with driver?
Not sure this will apply for v2 or not,but may worth a try.
Change to another audio output and change back to kraken several times.

Different services have different volume levels, for example if you're watching a movie on a player and after trying on youtube, you will see the difference between them, so it's with the games the sound incorporated into them is maybe a bit different because it may need to be lower for some audio details, ijs. This also happens to me but i know it's not a problem.

I believe is because of true 7.1 channel system from Kraken 7.1 V2. This happened to me, even I had delete the device completely from OS and restarted, still the same.

I'll suggest you reinstall Kraken 7.1 V2 like me first. Then, never let Windows 10 overwrite driver of Kraken 7.1 V2. Also, manually set your sound level (right click speakers icon, click the Open Volume Mixer). And you good to go.

Overall I believe it is not defective or what, is the compatibility of built in 7.1 channel system with Windows 10.
