I recently had interest in buying a new mouse, but I cannot choose between the Mamba or Deathadder Elite. Please note that the Mamba is not Tournament Edition but the normal one. Money is not a problem tho :)

If you want lots of colourful lights and you think wireless mode will be nice then go Mamba

If you want a slightly better sensor for gaming then go Deathadder Elite

Then again I have the Mamba TE and the laser is perfectly fine so who knows

I've heard they both are chroma, am I missing something? Also, does Mamba have a connectable cable or no?

Both have an older edition were chroma is not available. Yes, the Mamba has a cable too.

Soo, back to the topic, which one do you, good people of the Razer forums, think is the supreme, better mouse?

Deathadder elite is chroma. Regular (older) deathadders arent chroma. I live by deathadders so thats what i would recommend but i suppose if you want wireless then go mamba. The only other real difference is the shape. So just go with what you prefer shape wise.

Nope man, real difference is performance. Deathadder Elite has Elite in his name for a reason. It has the best sensor available on the market (Pixart PWM 3389) while Mambas, Nagas, Diamondback and most of Razer mice has cheap Philips PLN sensor. I can't recomend Mamba or Mamba wireless because of lack of performance. You can expect tracking issues and overall slower and not good "crispy" response time. If you want precisson go with Deathadder Elite, if freedom is what you need then choose Mamba, but keep in mind it has nothing to do with "most precise 16k sensor on the world" :)

And about older version, Deathadder 2014 had only green lights (non chroma) and Avago sensor, the same sensor that was in Deathadder Chorma (and it still was miles better than Mambas sensor). And now Deathadder Elite has the best sensor avaiable, and it's Chroma as well, but without light strips on side ;)

Actually, I've heard that people have been praising it for its wireless capabilities, they said that they couldn't actually tell that its wireless, but the main problem is the sensor...

The Deathadder Elite is far superior

Ty guys, I'll be buying the Elite then :) Rn I have the Imperator 2012 and it double-clicks, overall not good preformance.

Also, are the Man-o-wars good? Or should I just get another Kraken v2...

As far as I know people are saying very good things about Man'o War in terms of sound quality. It's way better than Kraken's v1 for example. Other thing is build quality, lots of people complain about headband duarbility, it mostly breaks. Plastic used on the headband is pretty weak. Kraken v2 seems amazing for me. Comparing to v1 for lower price you're getting braided cable, strong aluminium construction, lots better ear cushions, bigger drivers and probably (thinking about reviews) better sound. Not sure what you want to choose, Man'o War are wireless, so you have this freedom while Krakens are wired :)

I own two deathadder's and would recommend them to anyone gaming with a mouse.

I'd go with DeathAdder Elite, as it has better optical sensor (great for FPS games).
BUT if you don't play fps games, Mamba will be a good option too (wireless mode ftw!).

Ok, going to get a Mamba for portability as it has both wired/wireless option and is on sale at Best Buy for $30 off.

Mamba is not a portable mouse.
One person already complained about its portability, because it's not portability-based mouse.

Anyway, you can use the razer Mamba wireless or with a cable.

Dont buy the mamba, had a similar buying decision a few weeks back and watching people have tracking issues with the philips sensor you just dont want that. If you use it for light gaming and work it might work but any serious gaming and the sensor will go bad on you.

Buy the mamba for looks if you just do light gaming.
Buy the DA elite for serious gaming.

I do have a DA elite and it's great, looking for a possible wireless option with the mamba. I will give it a go and return if it doesn't work out.
