I've had this same issue as well. In fact I already had sent back my first controller and they sent me a second and this one is also randomly disconnecting. I'm going to try it out for a few more days and then I'm going to return it if it continues its just ridiculous $160 for a controller that works when it wants. I had the saber tooth and that was the best controller I had it lasted me a few years with no issues but this one hasn't even lasted a few hours. The problems began the second day on the first controller and today when I unboxes my second one. Not sure if I have bad luck but two times in a row and I'll take my money else where.. Save it towards my cobra funding project lol

went with the elite and no regrets.

I understand peoples comments regarding the paddles but only run 1-2 of them at a time so havent had any issues.

How is how is the elite? Any issues? I'm just going to return this and buy the elite then. I do like the wildcats format and the way the buttons are placed which is why I bought it. But it's annoying that it freezes all the time.

no issues yet. seeing regular use both on pc and xbox. bit disappointed to hear you're having repeat issues with the wildcat. considering the price would expect better QC

I normally prefer anything Razer, but I am sorry to say the wildcat does not compare to my elite controller. Not even close. The elite controller feels solid and amazing. The Razer wildcat..not so much. Sad to say I sold my wildcat to a friend and kept my elite controller.

Thanks everyone for the posts, your opinions and incites are very helpful. I was not aware the Wildcat had so many problems and especially at this price point, that could be a massive deal breaker to many. I sure hope we see the competition heat up as time goes on (prices lowered, better quality control etc...).

I have had the same issue, and have sent it back for a replacement. Seems like it is a defect on all wildcats :slightly_sad: I really enjoy using this controlelr too, but I can't stand having to unplug it and plug it back in every time it freezes.

    Anyone else confirm?

While I don't have the controller myself so I cannot confirm this from my own experiences, I have looked for a while on many websites and I have seen numerous people with the same problem. I completely agree with you on getting a replacement, I hope your new Wildcat is better!

  9. Personally I've had no issues with my Wildcat after heavy use. Based on what I've read about the bumpers on the Elite, I'd say I made the right choice. If you liked the Onza and Sabertooth but had a bad time with quality (I did), Wildcat might surprise you on both accounts. To me it feels like the best improvement on the dual analog formula since the DS1.

  10. Well... Some years ago I bought Razer Onza Tournament Edition. First I loved that pad but later... Rubbers on analogs wiped down (remember there wasn't anything under them, so that was kinda hard to play), but ok I was still using it. Then... Something broke inside and left trigger stopped working... So I wasn't able to use Onza anymore. Ok then year or two later there was Sabertooth and I thought - maybe they made it better, I'll give Razer 2nd chance. So I bought Sabertooth and.. 1st day green rubbers on analogs wiped down... Ok, green ones weren't needed because pad had normal anaglogs. And then after some month.. Cable broke somewhere inside and pad wasn't connecting to console (other words - Sabertooth was broken). Later I needed headset for pc/x360 so I bought Razer Carcharias. After 4-5 months... Cable broke somewhere inside and Headset was broken. And this message isn't about hate (don't get me like that please) - I just want to tell i that you should improve cables of your products and their live time, because they are very good but they break so fast. There is one exception - Razer Naga Hex. There I can really say that It's best mouse in this world. I have it so long and can't imagine playing without those 6 extra-buttons and well... Maybe only your console products has problems like this above?

There's a wire on the Wildcat ... deal breaker for me

Once the MS Elite drops under 100$ CDN I'll grab it

For me while wires are annoying to untangle they are well worth it, they are always ready to go. Especially when there is a detachable cable the wires bother me far less (something to think about if that will be okay for you). Also you may be waiting for a while if you want the elite to be under $100.

Hope that day comes soon for you (with a sub $100 elite controller),

I have a shiny new Elite right here in my hand... right next to a shiny (somewhat) new Wildcat! I'm going to give these two a go and let you all know what I think. :big_grin_:

I can agree with that ... but I'm sitting too far from my TV to be using a wired controller :)

I know 100$ might be asking a bit too much, but weren't they around 115-120 on Amazon during the holidays or boxing week? I almost grabbed one ...

It is compatible with Windows to the best of my knowledge, you do need to download the app.
