I want this keyboard so bad that I changed the colors on my Blackwidow X TE to match the version 2 colors just so that I could pretend that I have one right now. lol Can't wait to purchase the real thing.

It's so beautiful. Maybe I will buy one when my Ornata will be broken. Or a Hyper X Alloy, because there is no Synapse on it LOL.

@Razer|Gwynbleidd Is it missing the indicator lights? It doesn't seem to have any based on the photos. Also, I do hope that the wrist rest is the leatherette variant and not the same cloth variant as the stand-alone wrist rest.

This does look great but the lack of FN lighting and Caps lock light is odd. The ITT sounds pretty cool.
I like the numberpad though anyways and am loving my full size V2 with yellows.

Don't think this has indicator lights, just like the original BW: TE Chroma. Still not sure what's the point of not illuminating the "fn" key though.

Wow. I didn't notice that on the original. On the lack of illumination though, it's quite odd since the BW X TE Chroma has the status lights so it can't be a lack a space. I wouldn't be surprised though since the full illumination isn't present with all their keyboards even though some has full illumination.

The only reason I'm actually considering this over the BW X TE Chroma is due to the wrist rest (if it's leatherette) since the stand-alone one is cloth.

Where is the numlock, caps, scroll indicator? I'm so confused ...

I'd like to know what the dimensions of this keyboard are? Is it close to 6.3 x 1.62 x 14.42 inches? I'd like to keep it on the same desk with my blackwidow X tournament edition so I can switch around keyboards when I need something quiet and anything 15 inches or more is no good to me with the way my speakers and desk are set-up.

I scoured the product page and could find nothing as to the keyboards dimensions. Unless I'm just blind and missed it?
  13. Hey Hucast,

Good question! The dimensions are the following for the Razer Blackwidow TE Chroma V2:

    Without wrist rest:

    - Length: 366mm / 14.4in
    - Width: 154mm / 6.06in
    - Height: 39mm / 1.54in
    - Weight: 950g / 2.09lbs

    With wrist rest:

    - Length: 366mm / 14.4in
    - Width: 219.3mm / 8.63in
    - Height: 39mm / 1.54in
    - Weight: 1.172g / 2.58lbs

They're very close to what you proposed, good eye :)

where are the indicators? that was a letdown

I'm guessing it's the same way as it is on the BW: TE Chroma. If you press "caps lock, screen lock" etc... the key itself just lights up white.

You may want to remove these. I posted a video link and I got a warning strike for self promotion as it was called in the Alerts section!!!!

Ah well, just ordered this one (yellow) along with the Firefly. Already have the 1st gen Blackwidow Chroma and Ornata (and the Deathstalker - but that one was a no go), great keyboards. I have several fingers with only partial feeling (partly numb) and I need real keys/feedback.
    Just some thoughts:
Offer a 10key edition w/o the macro buttons on the left - on the "old" Widow Chroma I have mine physically removed and synapsewise disabled and the empty space black taped. Will be one of the 1st to buy this !
I'm a heavy gamer but also need a reliable keyboard for my day to day job - if it's me, I would have a Widow in the office but the guys and girls would simply kill me bcos of the noise - regardless if green/orange/yellow. Even yellow is - some sort of noisy :)
That's why I got the Ornata for the office - perfect for my needs. I get strange looks because of the lighting effects and the fact of using such an expensive keyboard - but hey, it's worth every penny.
As I said - think about a 10 key version w/o the macro keys. You could put these on some of the f keys ingame - thats where I would look for them...
Ah well, can't wait for this one to be delivered :)
