I had a Sega Saturn as my first console. It came with a 3 game combo haha, not sure if you guys remember the games. They were Virtual Cop, Virtual Fighter 2 and Daytona USA. Had the whole Sega racing wheel and light gun set up going on. :cool_:

My first video game was Super Mario 64 that i played on my first console, the Nintendo 64.

My first PC was an Acer laptop which i don't really remember the model number of or specs specifically because i got it in 2008 and i wasn't that much into tech back then, it had 4GB of RAM and a GPU with either 1GB or 2GB or VRAM, an Intel Core Duo2 i think for CPU.
Though we did have a family computer before that but i have no clue what it had in terms of specs, all i remember is that it ran Windows 98... xD

    My 1st PC was 1994 486 DX-2 100Mhz, 16MB of RAM!!! and huge 1.19GB HDD + Windows 3.11 - this PC was a monster :D I played Golden Axe on it a lot.

I guess my first real video game was probably Mario Brothers
The first PC game that I played through and fully finished was one of the Leisure Suit Larry games, I think maybe the second one? After that it was The 7th Guest and Phantasmagoria.

Oh I can go way back...
My first computer was a ZX Spectrum. I can't remember the names of the first game, but you controlled a warship trying to shoot down planes, other boats and drop depth charges to kill submarines. I think it may have been called Destroyer.
My first PC was an 8086 XT, with Hercules mono graphics and a whopping 4.7MHz processor (yes, you read that right).
Tomahawk was the first game I installed on that PC, a very basic Helicopter gunship flight sim.
I loved the original POP, and Karateka. Jordan Mechner FTW!

If you consider Mario typing a game, then that was it.

Otherwise, Doom II: Hell on Earth. Always managed to get through very deep but never finished it, though, because of that level where I was stuck in that 1 meter deep (if I remember correctly) pit circling around unable to find a way back up. There was no google no nothing for me back then.

HAHAHA I remember that, it was so frustrating. During times like that i would think that the game is bugged so I'd feel better.

With only 1h allowance/week from my mom, I struggle a lot through the game, but always managed to solve, except that one. So I believed I was just terrible at this game that I cannot find a way through.

I gave up and started playing Virtual Cop. VC helped me a lot with my reflex. It was so realistic back then.

The first video game I will say I really played and remembered was StarCraft. My brother is much older then me and I would sneak downstairs in the middle of the night and play StarCraft with him. Through the years i can't even begin to tell you how many StarCraft Brood War Battle Chests we bought since we kept losing discs but that game is still my fondest memory from when I was a child.

First ever console I got was a PS2 and I think my first game was Hulk (the one from 2003). Man, those early memories don't leave you for a lifetime. It's like that was a life-changing experience :)

Duck Hunt. That game was the bees' knees. My brother and I are only 18 months apart, so we were 6 & 5, I think. I used to sit back on the couch ~15 ft from the TV sniping those birds, and he'd get so frustrated he'd get up, run close to screen (I'm talking like 1ft away), and every time he fired the gun he'd push it forward like it he was giving it extra oomph. I'm literally laughing right now I as I think about it.

It was my brother who instilled in me the habit of gaming. My very first console was the Xbox 360 which was also gifted by my brother. I started playing with Minecraft and now I am more and more interested towards GTA.
