Mice and Surfaces

Hello! Today, in the morning I was using my pc for about half an hour, mouse was working perfectly as it should. After a few hours I got back, ready to play some games but randomly and for no reason my mouse is not working anymore. Before I booted my pc I did a quick mouse clean, with just a cloth. Then the mouse LED went on for no reason, I booted my pc and mouse is not working anymore. It's not getting recongized by my pc or synapse 2. I tried uninstalling all the mouse drivers/usb drivers, completely uninstalled razer drivers (I also happen to have blackwidow v2 keyboard), disassembled my mouse to check if anything is faulty but still nothing. It also doesn't work on other computers that I have in the household. How is this even possible? I've used this mouse for years, 0 problems. I refuse to believe it suddenly just fell apart and won't work. I would really appreciate it if anyone could provide a solution or suggest something. Thanks in advance! EDIT: Bought a new mouse. I was given a Razer Sphex V3 recently, and it's my first plastic adhesive mouse pad. I've not used adhesive pads before. I like how it's firmly affixed, but my question is, what do I do when I decide to move it? (because I decide to sit differently or just change desks) It seems like the adhesive properties will be quickly lost and the bottom will gather dust and particles very quickly if I take it off, similarly to protective glass for smartphones. I'd like to hear about the others' experiences with these things.

I just updated my Razer Synapse software and my Deathadder Essential is only allowing a max of 1000 dpi. i play on 2400 dpi normally so my everything is messed up when i try and game. please help asap. I've tried sending in a support but it just gives back error messages

Hello, I purchased the Razer Orochi v2 and installed Synapse on Win 11. With my old Roccat Kone I could press the "Mouse Button 4" and then scrolling the wheel would scroll the volume slider. In Synapse I can't see this option and I dont want to waste 2 mouse buttons for volume up or down. Is there a way to use the wheel to do that? Thank you!

HELP!!! The usb receiver (used for wireless range extension) on my charging dock for the Razer Viper Ultimate doesn't work. It's not registering the USB when it's plugged into it at all. Is there a way to fix this or is the charging dock just faulty?

So i have the Viper for about a month now and this very strange problem. Windows fails to recognise the Viper 8Khz when i lift it up. What happens is this: as soon as i lift the mouse, windows disconnects and reconnects the mouse several times in a row until a windows error message comes, saying that windows failed to recognize the usb device. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the mouse drivers AND synapse 3 a dozen times now. I have a Windows 10 64 bit system. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx.

Hi Hey all, Im looking to buy an MMO mouse. I came across the Razer Naga Pro and the design + swappable panels seem to fit what I want. However, I am aware that razer has had a lot of quality issues with their gaming mice. I haven't owned a razer mouse before, so Id like to know after months (or years, I'm not sure when it was released) of use, have owners of the Naga Pro had any issues? I read are that there are double clicking issues, mouse being irresponsive, software is buggy/ not supported etc. I'm not looking for affirmation or anything, I'm just looking for an honest review. I will greatly appreciate everyone's help on this since its quite an expensive mouse, especially in my currency. Thanks in advance!

I have a Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed and have been using the special DPI button on the mouse to switch between precision aiming and normal mouse DPI, but I've found it's positioned terribly and I often move the mouse around when I try to click it. Is it possible to configure a keyboard shortcut to replace it's function? As in, to switch between DPI profiles from the keyboard instead? I don't have a Razor keyboard, however.

Hi I'm planning to change my Logitech keyboard/mouse to Razer. I wanted to buy a Razer Basilisk V3 but I see that the Razer Viper Pro V2 just came out with a new sensor and new 3Gen switch. I don't know the habits of Razer at all. Do they release upgraded existing products? I mean, could a Razer Basilisk V "3.5" with the new sensor and 3Gen switches come out very soon or they never do that and I can buy the Basilisk V3 without fearing a new model omegle shagle coming right after?

This happens a lot during fps games as I tend to flick the mouse a lot. It disconnects (the light turns off) and then it reconnects again (the light turns on again). However, this does not happen if I plug the mouse in.

So I got the Deathaddder v2, but my hands are so heavy, that the mouse feet got completely got worn down after only 30 minutes of use. Are there mouse feet out there which don't get worn?

Hi everyone. I have just bought a Blackwidow V3 Mini keyboard and a Viper Ultimate mouse and have got them running OK using their respective 2.4G dongles. However I was hoping to get them both running off the same dongle but after a quick internet search I know realise the mouse does not support this feature. Its not a huge issue for me but I am wondering if multi-device Hyperspeed is likely to be incorporated in a future firmware update for the Viper Ultimate, or is it just a case of waiting for a future version of this mouse with the feature to be released?

can someone help me i have a razer naga pro not even a year old and i was gaming with it but i took a break watched some anime but when i wanted to use my mouse again it was turned off wit the switch was on so i tryed to plug it in my pc to charge but it still doesnt turn on after 2 hours help

I got a Razer DeathAdder Essential for $15 a few weeks ago. I've been using it as my daily productivity mouse and I can say that this is easily the best mouse I've ever used in my life. This is the first gaming mouse I've owned and I'm very impressed by its performance. That being said, I plan to use this as my daily mouse for all my computer-related tasks in school and during my free time. My computer is a MacBook Air and I prefer to use the DeathAdder instead of the trackpad. I'm pretty old-school in the sense that I prefer to use mice over laptop trackpads for day-to-day use. Anyway, I don't intend to use the DeathAdder for gaming (at least for now). I'll probably only use it for daily computer work in school such as Excel, Word, as well as for browsing on sites such as Google, Youtube, and Netflix. Aside from this, I also plan to use the DeathAdder for basic graphic design projects on Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. So yeah, how long do you think omeglz my mouse will last if I

I've just purchased a Razer Pro Click wireless mouse but I can not find in the tiny users manual that came with it how to set the side buttons??

Are the left and right scroll click bindings swapped for anyone else? They seem to be swapped on my Basilisk V2. Is it supposed to be like that? Like, when I assign something to the left scroll click, it goes to the right, and when I assign to the right, it goes to the left.

I've had this mouse for many years and it has been well used over that time. I have worn out and replaced all three of the switches for the left, right, and middle buttons. When I replaced the left and right buttons, I was able to find high quality replacements - they feel great and are still going strong. But when the middle button died, I couldn't find a good replacement. It is a different form factor than the other two. It is a 6x6mm 2-pin switch. What I ended up installing had too high resistance (about 80 gf measured directly at the switch) and it didn't last very long. I'd like to replace it with a better switch this time around. Does anyone know where I can find a suitable replacement? Thanks

Hello everyone, I want Advanced Mouse Acceleration settings in Razer Synapse. Some about me, I'm a gamer (obviously) who's first game was the ping pong game on Win95 and a long time Call of Duty player since 2005. My first mouse that felt like a body part and not like a mouse, was the Razer DeathAdder Re-Spawn, after it broke I started to looking for other better mice, now I came back home, owning a weight modded DeathAdder V2 Pro, love it. Now, I always disabled Mouse Acceleration in windows because it's actually bad. But after looking a little more into it and watching youtube videos, I saw some pretty complex programs to adjust mouse acceleration precisely. I always was against mouse acceleration but this changed my mind and it's crazy. So it was possible for me to be able to flick heads and perfectly track enemies. I always played very low sens because many players do hide and camp between objects that have very small gaps. I'm talking about extremely small gaps where it's barel

We have long-hair cats. The fur gets into the wheel and makes it hard to use. Tweezers and toothbrush take a long time to clean the fur out. Is there a better way?
