Connected a deathadder elite into a wall socket

    Hey guys,I have bought today this mouse and since I dont have my pc yet,I connected it to my wall socket only for 5sec ish (to see if lights work)
    The lights didnt show and Im afraid I ruined my new mouse,did I? I cant check it until next week

    You know you can test it on any pc right? Like, ask a friend or someone else using a pc anywhere

    OP, try connecting a BlackWidow and Kraken to play house.

    If you put your hand on the mouse, and then your tongue into the socket, it should light up.

    I think that it would be OK - some time ago I've tested some optical Dell mouse plugged to 1A charger, and it's working.

    i dont think you ruined your mouse. i charge my wireless headphones on a power socket very often. it only provides 5volt so dont worry about that. about the fact that lights not showing is couse it may not work with no pc

    +1 to @thankarezos2

    The RGB in the Razer devices don't activate with the power on USB peg. They use the digital peg that would only be activated once it's plugged into a computer.

    Also I don't think it would damage the hardware by doing this unless the ampage was really high which most basic phone wall warts are not.

    chargable devices like naga epic chroma light even when they connect to a socket. tried that
