Razer has some pretty sweet promotional giveaways if you spend a certain amount. Recently, I've seen "Spend $179 receive a free Razer Naga" and the same offer for Kraken Mobile, and Nabu X. What are some of the cool offers you've snagged? (Or at least seen as opportunities) And any other websites, you know of, giving away as good of loot as the Razer Store?

There was a free pait of razer kraken mobiles as a razer insider post reward. The headset is 90$ on its own.

I would love to see like 10-15% off the new blade as a discount though.

When you spend $179 on peripherals.... Yeah like that one time when I decided to break the bank on keyboards and mice just to get a free fitness bracelet. No, I have not gotten any of these "cool" offers, partly because to get them you have to donate your kidney just to be eligible.

I mean its expensive, but for example: I'm planning on getting the ManO'War ($169) if I tag on an extra ten dollar item or twenty dollar item that I also would like just fine, I can get a product thats $50-90 that I normally would not be purchasing. Thats a pretty sweet deal in my opinion.

I guess so, but don't you like how they conveniently made it $10 higher so that you have to buy something else to get your free item. Obviously they are making enough money off you you to give away a $90 item for free.

Let's see. . .when I bought my Razer Leviathan there was a promo to get a free Death Adder World of Tanks addition if you spent "X" amount. I never opened it because it doesn't match my green lighting theme and it's still in the box. Plan on giving it to my cousin when I finish building him a pc so he has a good mouse to start with.

Speaking of terrible deals, when are we gonna get more disappointing Razer Insider Rewards that do not work half the time?

Lucky you, mine never worked. : / I input it once to see the discount and apparently that counts as me using it.

thats disappointing, not the case for me, it shouldn't use up the code if you didn't buy anything...

I got the Naga free with my Atrox XB1 purchase last week. I already have a naga epic chroma, but hell, now I have a Naga for my work computer...going to bind random keys to it and make it interesting.

You do realize that the most recent headset promo for Insiders (120 post reward) read as follows: "Free Headset With Any Order" which meant that if it were under the free shipping limit then you'd pay shipping on your order, but if what you were ordering was already above that threshold then it was quite literally a completely free headset? The same was also true for the l33t pack and the iphone case. The 15% bags, the 15% off peripherals and the straight up $20 credit had no limitations either, outside of the two being for a specific list of items. So, I'm not entirely sure why you think that it's so expensive to use the codes on items you're planning on purchasing anyway??

Also, if this occurs, you can contact Razer Customer Support and they'll issue a new code. Sometimes they do ask that you show a screenshot of the Razer Store telling you that the code is invalid, but they're quite helpful in getting it fixed. Just for future reference. (I've had to do that in the past)

In regards to the actual topic question: My favorite promo was getting the Kraken Pro for free when I purchased my Leviathan. I was able to give that to my son as part of his Christmas gift.

Best Buy has some pretty great deals every now and then. I remember I was able to purchase a Razer Deathadder for $55 that came with a free $50 Steam wallet card. I needed to buy a steam wallet card anyways, so paying $5 more and getting a Razer Deathadder was a pretty sweet deal in my opinion. As gbone93 said, these type of deals can definitely make a purchase sweeter if you are already planning on buying the item anyway, since being offered a useful additional item for a fraction of its normal cost (such as $5 or $10 extra) definitely sounds like a bonus to me. But of course that doesn't appeal to everyone, as we all value items differently. If you believe the item is over-priced to begin with, or perhaps the item just doesn't appeal to you, then it's understandable that these type of deals won't warrant any of your interest.

Perhaps trying contacting Razer|Technokat with your case ID# from your contact with support, he's been very helpful with others looking up their cases, reading the history and doing what he can to assist our members.
