I wanna know what people think about both mice(or snakes rather).
I currently own the Deathadder Chroma and love it, but have also had my eye on the MambaTE for a while.

DPI aside, I wanna know what people think about both mice design-wise.
    Buttons, feel, etc.

The Mamba TE is amazing in my opinion. I got it in Mid-December on sale for 99$ CAD, And I also came from a Deathadder Chroma. It is very easy to switch to the Mamba, And it nearly feels the same on the hand. The pictures and videos do not do it justice, Since it is very bright. It also goes along super well with the Firefly Mousepads.

The Scroll wheel buttons feel sturdy, And I find that the Macro buttons on the left side of the mouse are not as easy to accidentally hit like they are on the Deathadder. The sensitivity buttons in the middle of the mouse are also out of the way, And it is nearly impossible to accidentally click on them and turn your sensitivity up too.

The only bad things I have found about the mouse so far is that the Sensor is not as good as the Deathadders, And some times it can mess up a little bit. It also has the same kind of problem with the Deathadder where if you have sweaty-hands when gaming the mouse surface and rubber pads on the sides get slippery.

Overall, If you can get it on sale its a good deal. I do not think I would have got it not on sale, And my Deathadder still worked fine, But I needed a new mouse to travel with, And now that Deathadder is my go-to travel mouse.

If you're happy with the DA Chroma I'd say be content with that. The Mamba would give you more lights, better grip on scroll wheel, bigger grips on the sides, and extra buttons. A few nice little improvements (with the risk of occasionally poor sensor) but maybe not worth it unless you'd like an extra mouse.

The Deathadder has better reliability, while the Mamba is prettier.

Deathadder was my first mouse. Mamba was the upgraded version.

Deathadder definitely, and be sure to pick Deathadder Elite. Mamba is cool, but the lights are the only advantage. Deathadder Elite has better sensor, that's the most important thing in mouse. Precision. However, if you don't plan to play competetive and you don't want to be the best, then you can go with Mamba. Still, my pick would be Deathadder Elite :)

Okay, so based on what I have seen from you all, I'm gonna wait to see if Min and Co. decide to release a Mamba Elite.
If a Mamba with True DPI sensor is released, I'll probably get that.
Thank you all for your input and help with my research! :)

I have a Deathadder chroma and I love it, but it's a bit big and sort of forces you into either a claw or fingertip grip, but I got use to it quickly. But the Mamba lighting is in my opinion better because they seem brighter and better the lighting strips are amazing. And sense you want the TE (if I remover right) you won't have the click tension dial, and in my opinion there a bit deep and soft for the competitive gaming I do. If you just want one or the other for general use, I'd go with the mamba for the flare and I'm considering getting both anyways
