I just wanted to know what is your favourite side scroller of all time?
  2. Super Mario World, with game genie cheats :D. I wasn't in school yet, and it was the best game.

Other favorites include: Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong Country, DKC 2 (played a little bit of it), Street Fighter 2, Final Fight, Mark of the Ninja, Speedrunners.

Dust: An Elysian Tale. I'm still hoping for a sequel :slightly_sad:

    Others: Trine 1 & 2. I still have some more recommendations but I can't remember all. :)

No questions asked, Cave Story. If you haven't played it, you NEED to.

I love New Super Mario Bros. 2! Usually I dash and jump in a stage, all the way to the finish line in around 60-120 seconds, depending on how the situation the stage is.

Battletoads on NES. I never did end up finishing the game; always died at the "speeder-frog" section.

I'm a massive fan of Super Meat Boy, but if that doesn't technically count as a side scroller....I'd have to say Rayman, the first one on Playstation.

Super Meat Boy is awesome, but for me Ori and the Blind Forrest is the best side scroller I've ever seen. The atmosphere is just groundbreaking, the soundtrack is epic and the graphic style amazing. Definitely underrated.
