    Hi,

I've got some problems figuring out how to take a screenshot on my Razer Blade GTX1060. Usually it is Win + print (F12), but it doesn't seem to work here. I've got Synapse set the keys to function keys. German keyboard layout. Thanks a lot.

Hey Flythe, welcome to Razer Insider.

Another usefull method for screenshots on Win10 (I guess you are using this system) is to press Win+G, game menu will appear. Click on "it's a game", and then every time you press Win+G you will be able to take screenshot just by pressing screenshot button.
And of course there is a shortcut, press Win+Alt+PrtSc :)
I think that's the easiest way.

    Thank you for your answer,

unfortunately, Win + Alt + PrtScr (which I assume is F12/druck on the German keyboard) won't work if the Xbox DVR is disabled. My old VAIO notebook could take screenshots (of the whole screen) only using Win + PrtScr. If possible, I'd prefer both avoiding Xbox and always taking a screenshot of the whole screen without always having to cofirm the content to be a game first. PrtScr.png

Hmm ok, I have and idea. Open screen keyboard, you can launch it just by searching in Windows. There is PrtScn key, you can use it to map it to any key in Synapse. Choose any key you want in Synapse >> keyboard function and press the key with a mouse on screen keyboard, should work fine. When it's mapped you should be able to take screenshot now, just by pressing Win+"your mapped key" :)

The onscreen keyboard doesn't have any F- or other special keys, though. However, I just found out that you can press fn + Win + F12/PrtScr in order to take a screenshot, so I'm good to go. Anyways, thank you very much for your help. I really appreciate it. :)

download gyazo. Either that or search for the snip tool in the windows 10 searchbar

  7. Hey Flythe,

A good way to capture your screen on Windows 10 is to use the Snipping tool. This way you can capture exactly what you want without having to use a keyboard shortcut. And it's built in!

When playing compatible games, you can also use Nvidia Ansel to take magnificent screenshots.

I don't perfectly know the German layout but I'll look into this and see if there is a solution for you.

    Cheers.
