    Hello all,
As the title states, I have a Kraken 7.1 v2 usb headset. I really like it most of the time. The problem is that sometimes when I start a game/video/music, anything with sound really, the left ear cuts out and the right ear erupts into a painfully loud sound. Frankly I am surprised it hasn't broken the speaker, or my eardrum. I have spoken with support and they sent me a new one, which does the same thing. The only way to stop is is to turn the volume down and then back up. I don't know why that fixes it but as soon as it goes one notch down everything reverts to normal again. If it helps I am running a mac, latest OS. I want to love the headset, but it sits on the shelf most the time because I am tired of ripping it off my head every time it happens. Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone have any idea on how to stop it so i can use these without fear of losing hearing?

I would add I have reinstalled synapse several times and nothing changes, used different ports, and asked it really nicely to stop being an a**.

Did you try reinstalling the drivers? Not sure how that's done on MacOS.

    Isn't that what synapse is?

Nope, Synapse is more of a software for hardware while drivers are "hidden" if you will. On Windows you can reinstall them using Device Manager, not sure on MacOS.
