The Mamba TE has the perfect ergonmic structure, good buttons and it looks amazing!

It's too bad "the hyped" laser sensor is so damn bad, I play FPS games and lift the mouse a lot when I play, the laser sensor does not agree with me on this. I even feel like it don't really respond accurate to my movement. Im now using the razer deathadder elite, ONLY because of the optical sensor. But I really really want to use my mamba. Mainly because of it's great looks and how it feels better in my hand.

RAZER! Please consider making a Razer Mamba TE, that uses the deathadder elite optical sensor. You could call it "Razer DeathMamba TE" I know by fact that I'm not the only one that seriously wants this.

    Razer please respond to this!

They should make different sensors for their mice for customers to choose from eg. laser or optical in mamba. But the name 'DeathMamba TE'? Srsly? Who would want a dead snake on a desk xd

Being a devoted Razer fan, I would have to agree with the fact that the new optical sensor isn't par to the previous editions of the Mamba, and maybe even the Deathadder or Diamondback; it's just not good. It's new technology however, so I wouldn't expect it to be perfect just yet.

I have the Mamba Wireless and I love it and never had any issue till the mouse pad was bent. but I was able to use the mouse on my custom PC and my Army Class laptop. I love love the feel and had not sensor issue. But I do understand the want for what you like. I keep the DPI all the way up to 16,000 as well.

I too have a Mamba Wireless, no issues whatsoever and I find the laser sensor to be far superior than the optical one (I tried a DeathAdder Elite of a friend of mine). I voted yes though: always open to new combinations! :)

I dont care about what they would call it. It was an example. Deathmamba doesn't mean "dead snake" deadmamba do. But as i said before, I dont give a s**t about what it will be called. I only want the Mamba TE with a optical sensor. In synapse you could choose 400 dpi, 800 dpi, 1000 dpi, 120 hz, 500 hz and 1000 hz. And good to go!

I still think it's not a matter of sensor, since I don't have the problems you say you have. You just have to properly calibrate it :)

The Lancehead TE is kind of the replacement for the Mamba TE with the deathadder elite sensor, But I would still like the Mamba TE to have a Deathadder elite sensor since I know already some people don't like the feel of the Lancehead TE and it doesn't really have as many lights as the Mamba TE does on it, So that's another thing people would want back.
To me my Laser sensor Mamba TE is a good mouse and ive had it for about 7 to 8 months, But sometimes it does have some minor glitches where you need to re plug in the mouse so it responds again, But this only happened about 4 times since I got the mouse, So its not too common and not that bad, But so far it never happened in the middle of a game but I would see it being more annoying in the middle of a game.

When I first bought the mamba te (My first wired mouse) I had no issues with it or with the sensor just that it wasn't as smooth as a optical was which was fine didn't affect gameplay My mamba was probably pretty good until the rubber grips came off and thats when I bought the lancehead te which is amazing right now and better then the mamba.

I am currently using the Mamba TE, I am actually really enjoying it. In the beginning I have had issues with the sensor but just yesterday I had messed with the settings and re-calibrated it and now it is working smooth. I am considering switching it for the Lancehead TE but I like the lights on this one, I just need to go in store and get a grip on it and see what it feels like. I may end up keeping the Mamba as today is the last day I can switch.
