Razer Surround 7.1 Headset

    Dear Players,

    I have an issue with the headset, i am having a macbook (don't blame mac) and i am having a new headset since today, it is 100% perfect but when i put it in my USB pots of my Macbook, the first time of the microphone is weird. i will tell here;

    Please tell me if you have the same issue or you have a solution.

    the sound is not always, when i re-plug the headset the headset works fine for about 20/30 mins. I don't have the software installed since there was a report it will block it.

    Hmm it sound more likely problem with microphone itself. Try to install Synapse, I don't understand what could it block.
    Anyway, the best thing you can do is to contact Razer Support

    I think this is problem with hardware try to contact Razer Support as others says :)

    WELL WHICH HEADSET ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT???

    First of all, Insider is not a support forum.
    Second, if you want that bit of help that we can provide, at least provide us the necessary information.

    its not always, its just ones each 20min so there is no hardware problems.

    Calm down pal, no need for nerves. He said 7.1 Surround, USB connected, so I suppose it's 7.1 chroma.
    Just like I said, contact Razer Support. Or, try headphones on other computer ;)
    Have you installed Synapse?

    It could also be Kraken USB. He could be using a Kraken Pro, and a 3.5 jack to a USB adapter.

    None of them has surround 7.1, please don't make unnecessary mess.

    Please tell me, have you tried to install Synapse? I'm asking third time ;) It could solve your problem

    First check information to make sure your statements are valid.

    As for the the Kraken Pro, I thought he may be using Surround 7.1 software.

    It is still not the same 7.1 as Kraken 7.1. If he said his headset is Surroind 7.1 so only one Kraken that has 7.1 in name is Kraken 7.1 chroma. I don't know why would he call his Keaken Pro surround just because of program. As I said stop making unnecessary mess!

    Both are 7.1 Virtual Surround enabled, so he could be calling his headset like that because of that feature. You're just continuing the mess.

    Then the best option here will be contacting Razer Support . They will know what to do :)

    From what i got from other forums all they say that the problem is on your side, in the USB itself. while it isn't

    Found out that the software for mac isn't that quite good.

    Please, do as I said and contact Razer Support. They are specialists that will help you, they will know what to do :)
