Resume from suspend not working 2020 base

    Hey All,

    Anyone else find a fix for gnome suspending seconds after resume? dmesg shows that there is some type of kernel/driver issue behind it, and the computer suspends about 5 seconds after login.

    When I've had similar issues with Linux and laptops it's usually because there isn't enough swap assigned, which should always be at least as much as your RAM for suspend to work.

    Sorry for the late answer, but I think you must add
    button.lid_init_state=open
    to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT in /etc/default/grub and update grub
