  1. Story time! I have royally messed up twice.
    1) I was vacuuming around my room and was too lazy to lift up the Razer Kraken on my floor. I thought I could just maneuver the vacuum around it. Very bad decision. The vacuum ate the wire of my Kraken and it snapped.
    2) I went to a gaming competition at a local computer shop and brought my Orochi. I totally forgot I brought my own mouse and left it at the shop. I came back and it's gone.

I'd love to hear your stories! I'm not alone, right? :slightly_sad:

  2. I picked up my blade and completely forgot it was attached to the charger (I know I'm and idiot for this) and walked away with it. You can't imagine how angry I was with myself when it fell... I got lucky tho and didn't end up destroying a $2400 laptop. :rolleyes:But yeah, after that, I bought a case and don't even move the Blade without it in the case... :wink_:

  3. Oh my gosh, I would've had a heart attack! I always forget when my gadgets are attached to something. I always climb out of the car with my phone plugged in to the car charger, or roll my chair away while wearing my headphones--making all things come with me and fall. What case did you buy for it? I might get one for my RBS, too.

  5. :eek_: Did it still work?

  6. Three Years ago, I accidentally left my Hammerhead Pros at a Blue Man Band concert in Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The case somehow fell out of my pocket and I only noticed it when I had left Universal Studios.

After a second bath of rice it works just fine :)

  8. Aww, that sucks man! I always fear having things in my pockets fall out. When I have something important in my pockets, I usually check to see if they're still there every so often.

That's good to hear! I've heard so many good things about rice being able to get moisture/water out of electronics.

Yes it really works but don't turn the device on before i has soaked a couple of days in the rice :)

  10. Yeah, I've heard about that. It just sucks cause the first thing you want to do when devices go broken is to turn them on to see if they still work. Must be really hard to wait.

Took off my keys of my Blade in order to clean them, then dropped it, dropped it again that made it not detect the battery then the rubber strip on the bottom fell... now its just collecting dust for 2 years...

The worst thing that has ever happened to one of my razer products would be when my 6 year old sister ripped my kraken pro headset from my laptop, causing both my laptop (my old one, piece of garbage) and the krakens to go flying. The krakens ended up having the 3.5mm audio jack bent at a 30 degree angle, and now my new laptop struggles to get a mic input from it.

Just ordered a razer kraken chroma from the microsoft store for $39.99 to fix that problem.

How did you get a Razer Kraken Chroma from the Microsoft Store for only $39.99?

    It was $99.99 to start
got a 10% student discount, lowered it to $89.99
then used a $50 code I got from the ms store because they cancelled my order on the blade without me asking them to.

    So $39.99
pretty good deal if you ask me, a $100 headset for 4/10th the price

170$ is just a bit to much for me to spend on a pair of headphones. I think the usb connection on the kraken chromas will be getting will be much harder to break than the 3.5 mm audio jack connection.

  18. Or get 250 posts and get one free? Haha!

Aww man that made me so sad!

I knew you removed the keys (and couldn't put them back on) but I never knew you dropped it! Did it deform when you dropped it? Is the battery cable in place properly? Also you could try to superglue the rubber strip, I did that with my previous dell laptop and it worked. How much would it cost razer to fix it for you? Maybe you could fix it up then sell it on ebay for like $1000 or something.
