Clicking on your avatar - as if that wasn't already obvious?

You can also go up to your icon in the upper right corner and click on your profile. All your stats will also be listed there.

I have seen verry few likes on this forum compared to other social media. Probably because the forum isn't really focused on it like instagram or something

  10. Is this entire thread just a bunch of people "liking" eachother's posts?

More a discussion on why people like posts, if everyone was just liking each other's stuff there'd be a lot more likes under each of the comments haha

I guess that was a gratuitous "like" for you there.

I bet if they incorporated likes into the Rewards (that's my guess about the new year), then there will be a lot more people asking for likes in some way, and a lot less spam posting.
You'll get a trophy point for posting your first message.

Think it would be better to make the awarding system have likes, to stop the spamposting. Although I haven't seen much spamposts, most have at least some info in them.

Many different reasons,to show that I've seen something, but don't have anything to say about it;If I genuinely like it/think it's funny; If I think it deserves a like for the work that went into it

There are already folks who have something like that built into their signature lines. I'm still undecided as to whether or not I approve. On one hand it lets folks who were otherwise uninformed know that they *can* choose to "like" something -- but on the other hand it also feels like they're begging to be liked just so they can get more trophy points or whatever. Just kind of seems to me that if you have to ask for it, then maybe you didn't quite earn them to begin with?

Totally agree, if someome earns a like. They should get it without having to ask for it.

Most of the time I forget the "like" button even exists and it does serve as a reminder when I read their signatures but just seeing it in their signature kind of pushes me away anyways

So far, I've never given one out. I'm gonna save my like-awarding virginity for the right time.
