    I have many keyboards:
Black Widow 2013 Cherry MX Blues - Modded removable mini USB Cable.
Black Widow Chroma X Razer Greens - Modded removable USB C Cable.
65% Massdrop Laser ALT on preorder with Kailh Box Whites Hot Swappable
75% KBD75 PCB with XD84 Bent Steel Case with Kailh Box Royals and Navies Hot Swappable
40% GNAPkins with switches from a mechanical switch tester kit.

My recent project was the hot swappable KBD75.

After using many, I really love and enjoy the feeling of kailh box switches.

With a hot swappable PCB, anyone would be able to easily swap mechanical switches to their desired choice.

What I miss about not having razer boards is the Chroma integration with games and philips hue.

I would love to see a Hot Swappable Razer Chroma Keyboard in the near future, I would drop my money instantly on it.
Razer has worked with kailh before, please work with them again.
They have innovated a lot in the past couple of years with their new click bar box switches and tactile box switches.

Can you link me to the mod you did for the Black Widow Chroma X. Would love to have a removable USB C cable for it as well.

I didn't document my procedure however it is very very easy.

Below is a link to it, it's on one of my other posts.

    1. You need a USB C female to USB A male.
    2. Open up keyboard.
    3. Cut the cable.
    4. Solder the 4 wires to the corresponding pins on the USB male.
    5. Cut out a hole big enough for the female USB C to sit in.

I can take more photos later if you want.

Wow, that almost looks OEM. I am used to soldering and reconnecting things but I wont try this on my current keyboard for the fear of losing warranty. Definitely trying this once my warranty runs out.
