  1. Where'd you find that if you don't mind my asking? When I went to buy this it wasn't listed anywhere on Razer's site, and no one had any reviews up for it so I'm guessing they didn't have anyone review it before hand, so it was a total shot in the dark but man, I was so happy when I pulled it out of the box and started playing with it. It's perfect for my use. I love it.

I can tell you myself, my laptop is 17.5in from left to right, 11in from front to back and 2in thick from base to top where the gpu is.

    Nice I really want one!

  5. Here you go guys:

Tried to go over everything that I could!

@kajira - your 11in front to back is spot on to fit for sure. The blade is just under 11in and there's easily another inch to grow, so no problem there. Left to right being 17.5in will be a snug fit but you should be able to fit it. Again, Blade is just sub 17in, but I had an inch of room left. So you shouldn't have any problems with fitment other than left to right being snug. TBH, even if you couldn't close it it wouldn't matter, there's a flap that folds over that ANYWAY so it's still portected and won't look bad :)

Showed off the raincoat thing, no idea how it's supposed to sit on there, but you can atleast see what it looks like!

That's a great video overview - I've been using the tactical bag for probably the last 8 months or so. The rain cover's supposed to be strapped on the other way when it rains - and it came in pretty useful with all the terrible weather we've been having in SF the past couple of weeks!

  9. Thanks! I love how your most awesome stuff you guys make seems to come from things you make for yourself! Really drives home the FGBG! I sort of thought about it after the fact of posting the video that it wouldn't make sense to clip it that way, seeing as how the straps would on the back would be covered :D Good to know! I'll have to make a video of trying it the other less derpy way and post a video to show that. Thank you for watching! Really digging the insider, finally gives me outlet to reach people with videos I make overviewing all my 1337 Razer gear.

I can die a happy man now. MIN HAS SPOKEN TO ME!

I found it right here, under the specifications tab, and at the very bottom of the scroll bar.

  11. Hmm, ninja edited that, the day it was launched that info was not on their website :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I didn't check the specifications tab because it's usally just a mirror of whatever is on the product page, so maybe it was there from the get-go, but on the product page it had all that listed minus the talk of compartment sizes for laptops!

Good to see it's there now though!

I messaged Razer a while ago asking if they could come out with a Razer Logo patch for my 5.11 Tac Sac. They went even further and made an entire bag.

I just got this bag today. I play D&D, and it fit dinosaur of a laptop, my Deathadder, three packs of dice, 4 rulebooks, a sketchbook and all of my art stuff. Love it so far, on its way to becoming my school backpack after break.

Nice review man! I would get this if it came in black and PINK LOL, the green seems to flashy for me.

  15. Jelly! I wish I was still in school so I could rock this bad boy.

    lol! Pink isn't flashy?! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It kinda blows that I bought the utility bag right before they announced this bag's release... I can understand all the perks, ad as you said, especially the comfort factor, but I don't know if it's really worth the price. It's pretty high for just a bag you know. I am pretty happy with my utility bag, but again, even that was pretty pricy. The issue I have with my bag it that I always one-strap it at school, and within a month, the sewing on the right strap is obliterated... Which is very disappointing, but I just have to deal with it. Maybe once I start traveling more with my gear I'll get the new bag. But until then, I'm going to stick with my old one. But I really appreciate your thought towards the razer community, this actually really helped a lot of members!

  17. Anything I can do to help out! :)

Bag certainly isn't cheap, but if it's up to the quality razer says it is (and how it feels) then it'll last, and as long as it's the last backpack I have to buy, I'm happy to pay the price for it!

I wanted the utility pack too but was just lazy and never got around to ordering it, very happy I "waited". Utility backpack seems to be just as good at fitting a lot of shite in it too though! If not more!

BTW - that's a headphone mount - not a headphone case - your headphones are supposed to be mounted on it - not inside it (unless they're in ears etc).

And yes - I think we should have made it clearer.

I am actualy considering buying this product as it has many features I am in dire need of (the rain protection cape is an awesome addition btw!)
However, considering I already have a gaming laptop, I am wondering the laptop dimensions it can carry, specially in terms of height, since some of the laptops around these days are quite bulky (including mine :slightly_sad: ) and unfortunately the site isn't very clear on this field. While I understood it can carry 15'' monitors with ease, the 17'' ones, after watching that quick overview video might not make it in, unless theyre slim.

Would it be possible for someone to shed some information on the pack's laptop placer dimensions and a rough estimate on laptop sizes it can fit?

  20. Oh sweet! Now it all makes sense! Finke is Einhorn, Einhorn is Finkle!

I'll have to try that out. It could fit some smaller ones inside it though! Even over-ear ones, there was a guy that did a video review of the utility pack and he had a pair that looked small enough to fit. I'll edit the OP to add that and let some of the commenters on youtube know, thanks Min! :)

Clearer maybe, I've just never seen something like that :D I only assumed since it was hollow and had an opening that's what it was for. That's good design though that you can open it, so if you had stuff that could fit in it (like a mouse!) you're not technically losing much space. I like it!

Edit: @Min-Liang Tan Can you sell me some additional MOLLE pouches? :)

    Also, thanks for the share!

I measured the laptop area's dimension, thickness of the laptop really won't matter much, it'll fit fine. it fits the blade perfectly fine as far as how tall it is when you slide it in, and the Blade is actually a taller laptop than most you find out on the market, so no problems there. The only concern would be the depth from front to back, as long as it isn't more than an inch and a quarter, maybe an inch and a half, it'll fit fine. It honestly looks like it would fit just about anything in the 17" category.

Tell me what 17" laptop you have, I'll tell you if it'll fit (I'm sure it will tho), site was updated to describe it fits 17" laptops too btw
