I want to buy a razer blade stealth (quad-core) because my old laptop had stopped working. i would also use it for some school use and i just wanted to know if the cpu is fast enough. thanks for any help in advance! (btw i will be using FL12 to make Trap/HipHop type beats)(young metro type stuff)

I answered your message but I'll post what I said here in case anyone else wants to know:

The Blade Stealth comes with FL Studio (I think it still does, yeah?) which works pretty well for creating music, beats and tunes. It can also run other programs like Adobe Audition fairly well. What it isn't as good at is things like Video Editing or gaming unless you invest in the Razer Core and a dedicated graphics card. It's a really good ultrabook, but not a gaming laptop without some help. What sorts of programs do you use?

I'm just going to use FL and Word for school, nothing too intense
and did you have any CPU problems
and what does turbo speed and base speed mean for the CPU speed
    and thanks for answering!

That should be fine! The only time I noticed an issue was when I was trying to game to be honest, although it could still run overwatch on low settings okay. Again, so long as you're not doing anything too graphically intensive it's a fairly capable device, although FL Studio did cause the battery to drain a fair bit faster mind you.

Thanks a lot bro!, this helped me a lot!
and did you purchase "The New Razer Blade Stealth" (i7 8th gen) or any other model?

I got the 7th Gen one I believe, as it was early last year, the newer one should theoretically perform better! I recommend checkout out some video reviews of people using it for various things to get an even better idea of it too before you commit :) But its a very well built and nice device, I ultimately decided the Blade was a better fit for me though, I liked the size better and use it to play games on ultra settings as buying the Stealth + Core + a Graphics card was going to cost significantly more, and the core wasn't available in Australia at that time.
