@NazgulStig -- I found 6 USB 3.0 in the back, and absolutely zero 2.0 slots. I think there are a couple USB 2.0 slots on the front by the power button, but obviously I wouldn't plug in my keyboard there. lol

I just completely uninstalled my keyboard and driver, I completely uninstalled Synapse 2.0, I then rebooted my PC and then installed a fresh copy of Synapse again.

Well, guess what ... it finally fixed the issue!! I now have full control over my insane multitudes of colors. I also have to admit, I'm utterly transfixed by the 'wave' coloring that just has it go like rainbow from side to side repeatedly .. it's mesmerizing. LOL I could never play like that, but it's so damn cool to watch!! :D :D :D

I feel like I'm giving the infamous "restart your computer suggestion", lol. Anyways, to the point, have you re-installed synapse and/or checked for firmware updates?

The problem has been fixed. Here is the message that confirms it :

For some reason, that process doesn't work for me...I've tried updating, countless uninstall/reinstall processes. Now, my deathstalker doesn't show up. Both my blackwidow chroma and deathstalker function in terms of Windows use...but they don't show up so I'm stuck only with green on my chroma. I literally have been at this for days (besides being at work)...bout ready to give up

reinstalling Synapse alone will not solve the issue. Go to device manager and uninstall/delete the drivers for your devices then uninstall synapse, reboot and then install them back again.

Yeah I've done that, rebooted machine, fresh download/installed synapse, rebooted again per synapse after update, then connected keyboard...and nothing. At one point, it would recognize the deathstalker if I had it directly plugged in but it wouldn't if I plugged it into the USB passthrough on the blackwidow chroma...strange

Are you using USB3.0? If yes try it in USB 2.0

I have been having issues with synapse in general. Even on my brand new desktop that I built a couple days ago, as well as on my Edge Pro, synapse has just been $#%&ing itself. It takes FOREVER to load in and has been crashing as well.

Well I"ve had it in both....when my Deathstalker was being detected on my USB 2.0 (front) port, I figured I'd unlplug it and plug my Blackwidow Chroma in thinking it would see it....nope.

In my Device Manager, it says the name of the keyboard...I've told it to update drivers, etc. and I leave DM open while I unplug device(s) and I can see that everything is working on the computer side but I don't get the 'disconnect' between the Synapse software and the computer.

Yeah I know the feeling...before the latest update everything was fine, I could use my keyboard as intended. But after the update, they added the profile configurator which basically broke the software for me. I could no longer create any new profiles and in the process of trying to 'fix' it, I'm at the point where the Synapse software won't see my keyboard at all. I mean, my Deathstalker has more lighting options (static/breathe) than my Blackwidow Chroma at the moment! lol

Hmm. Sounds strange. Did you try it in another system? if it is having troubles there too then I think you should contact Razer and RMA it.

Yeah I think that's my next step...I have a laptop running Windows 7 (same as desktop) and I would even try it on my server running Linux (to eliminate OS issues) but I don't think Razer has a version of Synapse for it.

Well...installed it onto my laptop and all is well. After which, I also noticed in Windows Update there is an 'optional' update for the Razer Blackwidow Chroma. So I'm gonna see what happens after I install the update...if it breaks the update, I'm thinking it could be that causing my issue on my desktop and then see if I can undo that update.

I had this same problem, I found it to be a wake on LAN command for my laptop. once I enabled that (wake on LAN) Synapse installed the drivers for my Chroma. very odd that I would need to enable this for a keyboard but technically its an external device that can wake up the laptop... I guess
Laptop is an ASUS - hope it helps in your trouble shooting
